Seeing and Seizing Opportunities to Serve! Gods Living Word instructs us, As we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)

Jesus powerfully illustrated Gods expectation for His children to serve each other with the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:30-37. The unlikely hero was on a journey but stopped and helped a bruised and broken man. Sam did not manufacture excuses saying, It is too risky or it is none of my business. Instead, Sam saw a person in need as Gods invitation to serve.

We are surrounded by people who need the compassion of Christ. They need you to see their pain as a golden opportunity to serve them in the name of Jesus. The chief enemy to kindness is busyness. We have our priorities, our jobs, our duties, our responsibilities, and we can become so busy that we grow deaf to Gods voice and blind to the needs about us.

Whatislistedonyouragendafortoday?Ifsomeonehadaflattire one that is literal or emotional would you take time to stop, care and respond? If someone called and needed a ride to the hospital or church, would you take them? Remember what Jesus revealed, What you do for hurting people, you have done to Me. (Matthew 25:40)
