SeptemberWe launched our project!

• We signed the agreement with National Agency

• Announced the project at school

eTwinning

A lot of our students have already had some

eTwinning experience

We add students on eTwinning portal and provide

some information about eTwinning in general and

how to work on TwinSpace for those who haven’t

participated in eTwinning projects before.

• Aleksandra Vagele prepared a video ‘How to Create a

Logo’ using the programme CamStudio and sent it to

students (GoogleGroup, TwinSpace)

• Ludmila Ulinska organized a short meeting to answer the

students’ questions and try LogoGarden

• Students created logos at home using LogoGarden,

PhotoshopCS6 or just drawing

NOVEMBERThe 1st Project Meeting in Portugal

Before the meeting we prepared presentation about our school, learned some information about the place we are going to visit.

It was the most important meeting for us because:

• we met each other for the first time

• set the project's ground rules

• learned so many thing about the screencast programmes such as Jing, Snagit, Camtasia and Lucidpress.

Before each activity we follow the same procedure:

Write regulations (content, aim, deadline), it is approved by school headmistress and put on the project board

Teachers create video on the topic and send it to students via GoogleGroup, TwinSpace and Facebook Group

Teachers hold a consultation for students to explain what is not clear

Students work (usually at home) and share on Facebook Group

DECEMBERPreparing a digital postcard and a movie

• Aleksandra Vagele and Natalija Dektereva were responsible for December activities. So, they created a video ‘How to make a digital postcard’ using Movavi Screen Capture Studio and then ’How to make a movie?’ using PowToon

• Teachers sent videos to student via GoogleGroup, TwinSpace and Fasebook Group

• Aleksandra and Natalija held a consultation for those students who had questions

Created a video about Latvian Culture

• Prepared a Folk Dance and how to teach it

• Made presentation about Latvian Cuisine

• Communicated with host families

• Kept in touch with Spanish Coordinator to provide all the neseccary information (Tajana Revina)

MARCH An e-book about the students’ country culture

• Lubova Ilishko made a video ‘How to create an e-book’ and sent it to students via GoogleGroup and TwinSpace

• To create the video the teacher used the programme MovieMaker

• Lubova Ilishko held a consultation for those who needed help

• Students worked in groups to create an e-book and shared their work on GoogleGroup and Facebook group
