Dear Readers,

Welcome to the 2016 Summer

Reading Program: “Get in the

Game, Read.” This program is

designed to have the reader ex-

cited and motivated to read

throughout the summer.

Who can participate?

Any teen who has completed 5th grade

through 12th grade.

How do I register for the pro-

gram?

● Register at the New Providence

Memorial Library (NPML) in

person at the Young Adult (YA)/

Children’s Reference desks and

record the number of books.

Registration begins Friday, June

24th and continues until August

1st.

Read up to 6 Books!

Then What?

● Keep track of what and how much you

read beginning June 24.

Read at least one book per week. At

the end of each week all the partici-

pants will be entered into a:

$5 Starbucks prize drawing.

Even when you’ve reached your

limit of books, KEEP READING!

While it’s fun to read for prizes, it’s

more important to read for your own

pleasure and enrichment!

Congratulate yourself for reading 6

books and keep on going!

What Counts?

You can read pretty much any-

thing—books, magazines,

graphic novels, stuff from your

school’s required summer read-

ing list, even audio-books.

Only books that you read be-

tween June 27 and August 5

count toward the program.

lege Incorporated to present a 90 minute talk about finding the right match for college. Learn the process that col-

most importantly how to stay calm throughout the process.
