初夏の6月、様々なジャンルの音楽、演奏家がサントリーホールのブルーローズ（小ホール）に集い、3週間にわたって色とりどりの室内楽作品をお楽しみいただきます。2016年に加わるキーワードは「アジア」です。本格的なチクルスから、気軽に楽しめる1時間コンサートなど、いつもより日程を1週間拡大してお届けします。

In the early summer of June, music and musicians from various genres gather in the Blue Rose (small hall) to enjoy a diverse range of chamber music over a period of three weeks. The keyword for 2016 is "Asia." The event featuring performances of authentic cycles, casual one-hour concerts and more will be extended for a week longer than usual.

オープニング堤剛プロデュース2016 堤剛が厚い信頼を寄せる作曲家・ピアニスト野平一郎がシリーズ初登場。後世に伝えていきたい「20世紀以降の作品」をまとめて取り上げます。当公演のために新曲を委嘱するなど、未来の室内楽レパートリーを耕す意欲的な公演で開幕します。

Chamber Music Garden 2016SUNTORY HALL

Composer and pianist Ichiro Nodaira, held in high regard by Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, makes his debut in this series. The program comprises a compilation of "Post-20th century music" to be passed on to future generations. A new piece was commissioned to be produced and performed at the concert which is an ambitious effort to cultivate a repertory of chamber music for the future.

Since 1987, the Suntory Foundation for Arts has been holding the Summer Festival featuring a wide range of music from chamber music to opera. The Producer Series was launched in 2013 in which producers each year put on diverse and challenging stage performances showcasing a countless number of contemporary masterpieces or performances that go beyond the confines of music.

ザルツブルク・イースター音楽祭 in JAPANカラヤンが自分の目指す芸術を実現する場として1967年に私財を投じて創設したザルツブルク･イースター音楽祭。

今回カラヤンの継承者であるクリスティアン・ティーレマンがドレスデン・シュターツカぺレを率いて、

この音楽祭の真髄を7日間にわたり聴かせてくれます。その目玉は、ワーグナーの楽劇『ラインの黄金』。多くの方に

Salzburg Easter Festival was established in 1967 by Herbert von Karajan, who used his private funds to create a place where he could realize his artistic vision. In 2016, Christian Thielemann, Karajan’s successor, will bring his Staatskapelle Dresden and present the essence of the festival over seven days. The main event will be a performance of Wagner’s Das Rheingold, which will be seen as the return of the popular and original Suntory Hall “Hall Opera®”.Furthermore, the program will include a diverse line-up including an orchestral program, a chamber music evening, and a monodrama by actress Isabella Karajan (Blue Rose). ◎Pre-sale tickets go on sale in May

オペラ・アカデミー 20年以上にわたり世界で活躍する声楽家を育ててきたアカデミー。2011年より元テノール歌手で指揮者・声楽指導者のジュゼッペ・サッバティーニをエグゼクティブ・ファカルティに迎えて開催しています。

Suntory Hall Academy Suntory Hall Academy, comprised of the Opera Academy and Chamber Music Academy, is geared toward young musicians who are on their way to becoming professional musicians. In addition to lessons by the world's leading musicians, students attend regular workshops to deepen their musical knowledge, and perform in recitals at the Blue Rose Hall (small hall).

For over 20 years, the Opera Academy has been cultivating opera singers who are active on the world stage. In 2011, the academy has invited world-renowned former tenor Giuseppe Sabbatini who is a conductor and singing teacher, on board as an executive faculty member.

室内楽アカデミー 2010年開講、14年の第3期より元東京クヮルテットの池田菊衛、磯村和英がアソシエイト・ディレクターとして参加しています。

Established in 2010, former Tokyo String Quartet members Kikuei Ikeda and Kazuhide Isomura have been serving as assistant directors since the third semester of 2014.

「ウィーン・フィル＆サントリー音楽復興基金」は2012年4月に設立、助成事業および公演事業を行っています。この基金は、

ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団からサントリーホールを通して「震災に遭われた最も大切な日本の友人たちへ、お見舞の

気持ちを伝えたい」と1億円の寄付の申し出があり、長年、同楽団の日本公演のパートナーとして信頼関係を構築してきた

サントリーグループもこの主旨に賛同、同額を拠出してマッチング・ファンドとして設立したものです。

被災地または日本全体に活力を与え続けたいという願いにもとづき、全国から目的に沿った活動を募集、「音楽復興祈念賞」を授与し助成金を交付します。受賞者の希望に応じて、ウィーン・フィルメンバーが演奏・指導等に参加します。

ウィーン・フィルメンバーが継続的に被災地を訪れ、こどもたちとその家族のためのコンサートを開催します。2012年は宮城県、13年と15年は岩手県、14年は福島県にて演奏、また仙台ジュニアオーケストラを継続的に指導しています。

The Vienna Philharmonic and Suntory Music Aid Fund was set up in April 2012 to carry out subsidy programs and public concerts. The Vienna Philharmonic pledged a donation of one million Euros via Suntory Hall "in hopes of conveying our condolences to our dearest friends in Japan who have been victimized by the earthquake damage." Having built up a bond of trust as a partner with the Vienna Philharmonic through many years of Japan tours by the orchestra, the Suntory Group established a matching fund in order to indicate our support for the offer.

With the wish of contributing to the invigoration of the affected areas and Japan overall, we invite grant applications for music-related activities nationwide that meet the objectives of the fund, and we will select recipients of the Music Aid Award to whom grants will be presented. Upon requests by recipient groups, we will have members of the Vienna Philharmonic take part in activities such as concerts and performance instruction.

Members of the Vienna Philharmonic continue to visit areas devastated by the tsunami to hold concerts for children and their families. They performed in Miyagi Prefecture in 2012; in Iwate Prefecture in 2013 and 2015; and in Fukushima Prefecture in 2014. They have also continued to coach the members of the Sendai Junior Orchestra.
