It’s 100% ―Yes!‖
What a tremendous weekend we enjoyed as Walt & Gayla Brown came to visit FBC Washington! We are very pleased to an-nounce that the church has extended a unanimous call for Walt Brown to serve as our new Minister of Music! We began the “view-of-call” weekend with a special time of prayer and communion on Friday night. Saturday morning was “Day 221” of continuous morning prayer in our sanctu-ary followed by a choir rehearsal later that morning and a “Low Country Boil” church-wide fellowship on Saturday night. On Sunday, May 28
th the sanctuary was filled with praise as Pastor
Walt led us in worship and at the close of the service the congregation voted in 100% agreement for Walt to become our new Minister of Music.
Walt & Gayla have accepted the call from our church family and they are very excited to begin their new ministry here in Washington. Please pray for this transition and especially for the sale of Walt & Gayla’s home in St. Augustine, Florida. We will keep you updated as the timeline comes to-gether for their move to Washington. If you would like to drop them a note in the mail, their address is: 152 Fallen Timber Way, St. Augustine, FL. 32084

Pre– K Corner
Thanks...
As we look back on a very successful school year, we
are reminded of the gratitude that we owe to the FBC
family. Your support of the Pre-K Program/Ministry is
evidenced through many ways. Among these are: the
use of all church facilities and buses, help from the of-
fice staff, financial assistance, and contributions from
members in honor or memory of others. We are honored
to provide an exemplary educational foundation that
capitalizes on a child's natural curiosity and desire for
understanding the world that God has created around
them!
Pre-K Registration Information
As we anticipate and plan for the 2017-18 school year,
we have a few openings for students in our program.

tion forms may be picked up from the FBC office from
10:00 - 2:00, or downloaded at
