The Advanced Project Management Programme (APM) equips
managers with principles and the know-how of completing projects
on time, within budget and while meeting expectations. The six
modules offer a practical, step-by-step approach to managing a
project over its entire lifecycle from inception to close-out.
The APM is designed for current and prospective middle managers,
as well as investors and developers in all industries.
2017 Intake ADVANCED PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
CENTRE FOR BUSINESS LEADERSHIP
After completing this one-year programme, project managers in the public and private sector with a minimum of three years managerial experience, should be able to effectively execute projects in the organisation.
AssessmentFormative assessment (assignments)In each of the modules, two syndicate group assignments must be completed. These assignments count towards a year mark, which forms part of the final evaluation of the student.
Summative assessment (examinations)An open-book exam will be written. A sub-minimum of 40% must be obtained in the exam for the module and a final, weighted average mark of at least 50% for the whole module, where the weights for the final marks are as follows:

On successful completion of the programme, students will receive the Advanced Project Management Programme (APM) Certificate from the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL), an internationally respected educational institution.
Admission Requirements Applicants must have a Senior Certificate and at least three years managerial experience. Admission is granted on the understanding that students are able to attend weekly syndicate group meetings
and the compulsory study schools at the SBL in Midrand.
