Rosemarie AndolinoManchester Airport Group - U.S.

Rosemarie Andolino oversees the development of MAG’s airport services business in North America to work with airports to develop and operate terminal and retail solutions, passenger lounges and car parking facilities. She had over 12 years in international airport management, having previously served as the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) Commissioner where she oversaw the management and function of the world’s busiest airport system.

During her time at CDA, Andolino prioritised air service development, environmental sustain-ability and revived the organisation’s focus on customer service. In addition, she implemented an $8 billion reconfiguration of O’Hare’s complicated intersecting runways, including adding the CDA’s first new runway in 37 years. She also delivered more than 40 new major routes and 12 new international carriers; implemented the first United States Customs Border Protection Automated Passport Control technology; and lead Westfield’s $26 million redevelopment of the international terminal, resulting in increased sales of nearly 70%.

Andolino, who in 2014 was named by Premier Magazine as one of the ‘30 most compelling women in the travel industry’, joined MAG U.S from Jacobs Engineering where she has been Vice President of Aviation.

Roddy BoggusRS&H

Roddy Boggus is the Buildings Service Group Leard for RS&H’s Aviation Practice. Roddy comes to RS&H from Suffolk Construction, where he was executive vice president of aviation. He has also served as an executive vice president for Gresham, Smith and Partners, and as a senior vice president at Parsons Brinckerhoff (WSP USA). He was earlier a managing principal for PGAL and co-owner of Hodges-Boggus Architects.

A 30-year aviation professional, Roddy is an architect with a Bachelors of Design from Texas Tech University. Roddy was the 2017 Board Chair of the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and sits on the Board of Directors for the International Partnering Institute (IPI) as well as the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE).

Jenny BuckleyArup

Jenny Buckley is a Principal in Arup’s New York Office, and leads the Aviation Business for Arup in the Americas. Jenny has over 20 years’ experience in Structural Engineering, and currently performs the key role of Project Director and Project Manager, managing Client relationships with an extensive resume of successful projects from Concept through Construction across a broad range of project types in the US and Globally.

Jenny’s experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams on aviation related projects includes having successfully delivered projects through all types of procurement methods, including design bid build, design build, construction management, and P3. Jenny provides engineering advice and project management for Equity, Contractor, Airline and Architecture clients.

Diane BurtWSP

Diane is an Aviation Sector Director at WSP with over 20 years’ experience of aviation and transportation projects in the UK, Asia Pacific, Russia and Europe. She is a chartered engineer and enjoys working on the effective design and delivery of major infrastructure projects. She is especially interested in how people behave and interact with transport systems and terminal buildings from their initial conception, planning and design, through the procurement and construction process, and on to subsequent performance in use.

Matthew ButtersPascall+Watson

Matthew is Aviation Director for Pascall+Watson and a Board member of the British Aviation Group. He is a specialist in complex and challenging aviation projects, taking on successive leadership roles over the last ten years. He has been involved in some of the UK’s most presti-gious and time critical airport schemes and has spent a significant amount of time working on projects abroad in the US, Europe, Russia, Africa and the Far East, in the execution of high profile terminal design and planning projects. Pascall+Watson are an award-winning international design practice with offices in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. We are experts in the field of aviation design encompassing airport master planning, terminal design, passenger simulation modelling, wayfinding and all ancillary building types.

Mitch ChokasArcadis

Mitch’s career includes more than 31 years’ experience in airport and aviation related program and construction expertise. He spent more than 10 years at American Airlines, where he managed many projects including the Executive Terminal, FBO and Aircraft Maintenance Base for AMR Combs at Denver International; and the baggage handling system and facility expansion projects at Logan International, JFK, La Guardia, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Bradley International Airports.

As a consultant Mitch was responsible for providing consulting services to domestic and international airport projects, including a new airline start-up in the Philippines (Cebu Pacific Air), The Macau International Airport, New Aircraft Maintenance Base in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia concentrating primarily in the Asia Pacific region.

Mitch has since gained extensive experience managing large programs at major airports. He has a proven record of developing project delivery strategies and creating a culture of collaboration through partnering, which results in successful program implementation and delivery. His expertise results in successful program implementation while maintaining operations for complex airport development programs, (which includes numerous projects utilizing alternative project delivery methods). He has extensive experience working with all airport stakeholders, including FAA, CBP and the TSA.

David CoyneBenoy

David Coyne joined Benoy in 1982 and has been in the post of Director since 1988. David was a driving force behind Benoy’s move into Europe and currently oversees project teams working in both the UK and European markets.

He is the global lead for the Aviation and Transport Steering Groups within Benoy, extending the firm’s reach in these sectors. Specialising in enhancing new and existing, domestic and international airports through non-aviation revenue strategies, David is heavily involved in the growth of Benoy’s vibrant, and viable, ‘Airport city’ portfolio.

Chris ChalkMott MacDonald

Mr. Chalk has over 30 years of international consultancy experience, including over 20 years in the Aviation Industry. He has developed Mott MacDonald’s aviation practice into a full-service offering from demand forecasting and business planning through to detail design and program management. With a track record in over 90 countries he and his team are well versed in the opportunities and challenges of working around the world. Chris’ own experience has included larger airports such as Heathrow, Hong Kong, Delhi, Istanbul, Manchester and Cape Town as well as smaller airports such as Quito, Kilimanjaro. He has specialized skills in airport project finance and has been involved in over $15 billion of aviation PPP. Chris is also Deputy Chairman of the British Aviation Group and is on the Transport and Aviation Expert Panels for the Institution of Civil Engineers in London.

Paul DruryUltra Electronics Airport Systems

Paul Drury is Vice President of Global Strategy & Partnerships for Ultra Electronics Airport Systems and is responsible for defining the strategic direction for the business.

He has 25 years’ international experience in working in the Air Transport Industry through his close engagements with airports and airlines and has been involved with negotiating major aviation related IT projects with companies such as SITA, TUI group, Virgin Atlantic, John Wayne Airport, Airports Company South Africa and many others.

Paul’s industry experience includes the operational delivery and support of Passenger and Baggage processing systems, Airports Management Systems, aviation messaging systems, and brokering managed service delivery, enterprise application service provision and software development and strategic application outsourcing contracts.

Mr. Drury holds an MSc in Enterprise Network Management from Sheffield Hallam University and lives in Orlando, Florida

Mary Ellen EaganHMMH

As President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of HMMH, Mary Ellen is responsible for providing strategic, innovative leadership for the company and management to achieve long-term goals, development strategies, and policies. She became HMMH’s third President in July 2004 and was appointed CEO and Chairman in 2012. In addition to her corporate responsi-bilities, Mary Ellen’s consulting practice focuses on the environmental impacts of aviation, with a particular emphasis on noise mitigation. She is principal-in-charge for some of the firm’s most challenging projects, including Part 150 Noise Studies for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and support to the Federal Interagency Committee on Aircraft Noise.

Mary Ellen is very active in the industry. She is former Chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Aviation Group, and serves as the Chair the Airport Consultants Council for 2018. She is also actively involved with Airports Council International, serving as co-chair of the Noise Working Group and a Business Partner to the ACI World Environment Standing Committee.

Maxine HillWSP

Maxine is a Senior Vice President working for WSP USA based in New York. Maxine has over 25 years’ experience in managing transportation projects in the US and UK and specializes in bidding and managing large complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Maxine is currently the Project Director for the program management of the Moynihan Train Hall Project. She moved to this from her role as the Project Director for the design-joint venture on LaGuardia Central Terminal Building B and was the key interface coordinating and collaborating with the con-struction joint venture during the pursuit. Her experience as contractor, client and designer in the delivery of complex projects utilizing both traditional and alternative delivery procurement methods has led her to a diverse career in the industry. She received her MEng in Civil Engineering from UWCC in the UK.

John HeimlichAirlines for America

John Heimlich joined Airlines for America (A4A) in April 2001 and currently serves as Vice Pres-ident and Chief Economist. He is responsible for matters pertaining to economics and energy and frequently engages with members of the media.

Heimlich represents A4A in the MIT Airline Industry Consortium and the Harvard Industrial Economists Discussion Group and is Chairman Emeritus of the Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA). In December 2010, Heimlich received the Armbrust Aviation Group’s award for “Distinguished Achievement in Aviation.”

Prior to A4A, Heimlich spent five years at United Airlines in financial planning, financial analysis and international and regulatory affairs. In the latter role, he worked on competition matters, mergers, route cases and antitrust immunity for alliances.

A native of Kent, Ohio, Heimlich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Bob HenryADCI-Corporation

Bob Henry is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ experience managing aviation projects in both the private and public sectors. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State and a MS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. After graduation, he was excited to get an opportunity to join his hometown airline. This decision opened a previously untapped passion for avia-tion, which led to spending the first 13 years of his career managing design and construction for US Airways and Southwest at numerous domestic and international airports. Over the last 7 years, Bob has worked for Airport Design Consultants, Inc. as Program Manager for the Maryland Aviation Administration at Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport. In this role, he has managed or is managing Terminal projects with a total cost of almost $1B.

Isabella LeonePortland Design

Isabella has over 14 years’ of commercial masterplanning experience spanning airport and large-scale retail and mixed-use developments. She has an in-depth knowledge of the airport sector having worked on over 25 major masterplanning projects around the world. As a result, she has a natural flair for delivering planning solutions that help airports maximise their commercial revenue potential whilst at the same time enhancing the passenger experience.

Eliot LeesICF International

Eliot Lees is a specialist in ICF’s aviation transaction advisory practice, and specializes in business planning and asset valuation for airports and other aviation related infrastructure (aerotropolis projects), such as air cargo, aircraft maintenance, logistics centers, FBO’s, aircraft manufacturing, fueling and on airport commercial and retail developments. He has an extensive background in airport privatization, transaction due diligence, and airport finance. While at ICF, Eliot has worked on a wide range of client engagements in airports, airline, and aerospace. For more than two decades, he has advised a range of airports, governments, investment banking firms, developers and cargo operators regarding strategic, financial and privatization issues. He has extensive experience managing large complex projects with multiple workstreams and developing pragmatic client solutions.

Prior to becoming joining ICF SH&E, Eliot was an investment banker specializing in municipal and tax-exempt financing. He spent more than 10 years in various finance positions with leading New England financial institutions, including the position of Vice President at Bank of New England in Boston, Massachusetts.

Peter Kirsch Kaplan Kirsh RockwellPeter J. Kirsch is a partner with the law firm of Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell, and splits his time between Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C. His practice emphasizes regulatory, environmental, and land use law for transportation and infrastructure projects. For almost 30 years, Mr. Kirsch has concentrated his practice on airport development and regulatory issues. He regularly advises airports and local governments on land use law, federal legislation and regulations, and airport financial issues. Mr. Kirsch has represented clients in precedent-setting litigation relating to the powers of airport sponsors, control of airport noise, and preventing encroachment of incompatible land uses. He has been involved in the development of most of the new commercial airports in the United States in the last quarter century, as well as dozens of airport expansions, redevelopment projects, airport collateral land projects, and airport lease negotiations. He regularly advises airport governing bodies on governance issues, and legal obligations to the federal government. Mr. Kirsch is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on airport development and operational issues in the United States and elsewhere. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Colorado, Maryland, and Washington State, as well as many federal district and appellate courts and the Supreme Court.

Steve PelhamJacobs

Steve is Vice President for Global Strategic Development for the company. He has worked around the world for both aviation product and service providers. He has been a member of ACC for over 18 years and served on a several committees and the Board of Directors.

Simon PickupAirbus

Mr. Pickup joined Airbus in 1988 and spent the first part of his career as a Toulouse based Customer Marketing Manager, working primarily on sales and marketing campaigns in the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia. He transferred to the U.S. in 1995 and has played several roles since his arrival in the U.S.: as Airline Marketing Director; Director of Business Operations; Strategic Marketing Director and since mid-2015 as Marketing Operations Director.

In his current function Mr. Pickup liaises with Airbus’ Toulouse headquarters on market strategy, product developments, research and forecasting. In addition to his internal functions, Mr. Pickup has also represented Airbus at a variety of external finance, raw materials, transpor-tation, supplier, forecasting and valuation conferences in both the U.S. and Canada.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Leeds University and a Master’s degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University - both in the United Kingdom.

Jay LieseCorgan

Jay Liese serves as a Managing Principal of Corgan, a 650 person international planning, archi-tecture and interior design team with industry-leading experience in the planning and design of airport terminals. He leads the firm’s New York office which has completed terminal proj-ects for more than a dozen US-based and foreign-flag airlines and airport authorities. He is a li-censed architect in multiple states with more than thirty years of experience. jay is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Currently, Jay is the architect for Delta Air Lines’ new $4 billion terminal at LaGuardia Airport and is serving as the technical advisor to Jet Blue’s developer selection process for a new terminal at JFK.

T.J. SchulzAirport Consultants Council

T.J. Schulz is the President of the Airport Consultants Council (ACC), the global trade association that represents private sector companies involved in the development and operations of airports and related facilities. His duties include routinely interfacing with aviation-related government agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the U.S. Congress concerning high-priority technical, regulatory and legislative issues.

Mr. Schulz has 20+ years’ experience in transportation. Prior to his tenure at ACC he worked for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). Mr. Schulz monitored and secured legislative language through the legislative process by working with Congressional committees and grassroots efforts.

Todd ShellerWashington Dulles International Airport

Todd D. Sheller is the Deputy Manager of Airport Operations for Washington Dulles International Airport, where he has been a member of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s senior leadership team since 2004. Todd began his commercial aviation management career in 1990, and has served the aviation industry in both the public and private sectors. Prior to his airport management career, Todd was commissioned as an United States Air Force Officer, where he served as a Weapon Systems Officer flying the F-111D, “Aardvark” tactical fighter.

Todd was conferred a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a MEM in Engineering Management from the Old Dominion University. In 1997 Todd was designated by American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as an Accredited Airport Ex-ecutive; and, currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Chapter AAAE. Todd is also a past president of the Virginia Airport Operators Council, which represents the interests of the 67 public use airports located throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Anand SrivastavaLink Legal India Law ServicesAnand is an Equity Partner with Link Legal India Law Services, a full-service law firm in India.

Admitted to the Bar in 2001 and a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Anand has over 17 years of experience in his practice of law in India and has represented clients in diverse corporate and commercial matters.

He specialises in aviation and infrastructure sector and has advised major airport projects at Delhi, Hyderabad, Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen), Maldives, Mactan Cebu and also worked on various expansion aspects of Mumbai airports and has very recently advised the new Greenfield international airport at Goa and the Bangalore International Airport on the runway expansion works.

Anand also enjoys the status of a trusted advisor to SpiceJet, a leading low-cost India private air carrier, and has adviced SpiceJet over the last 17 years in all aspects of corportate, financ-ing, leasing and revival and rehabilitation measures. He has also advised on the recent acqui-sition of 205 next generation Boeing Aircraft valued at Rs. 150,000 crores ($22 billion) which is the largest deal in the Aviation industry in India and and largest ever for Boeing in India.

Steve Van BeekSteer DAvies Gleave

Stephen D. Van Beek, Ph.D. is Director and Head of North American Aviation for Steer Davies Gleave, an international transportation management consultancy. For SDG, he leads consulting assignments on airport business planning, governance and organizational reviews as well as financial advisory, including FAA regulation and grants.

He is a co-author of the Airport Cooperative Research Program’s ACRP 66: Considering and Evaluating Airport Privatization, including the chapter on the development and operation of the U.S. Airport Privatization Pilot Program. Steve has led several successful privatization and public-private partnership bids on behalf of equity clients, including three in the last year.

Steve previously served in a variety of capacities, including as Associate Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Executive Vice President for Policy ACI-NA, and as the President/CEO of the Eno Transportation Foundation. He serves as a Senior Transport Advisor to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Brussels where he advises on emergency prepared-ness and response, and is a past member of the FAA Management Advisory Committee where he authored the committee’s report recommending reform of the FAA and its programs.

A highly capable international aviation construction leader over the years he has developed a proven track record of leading, mobilising and developing teams to deliver solutions that enable bottom line improvements in business performance.

His career spans the delivery of Heathrow Terminal 5, Heathrow Terminal 2, the closing of Heathrow Terminal 1 and elements of overall Master planning at Heathrow. Prior to Heathrow his foundations were formed at Tesco and Lend Lease.

His leadership style is one of openness which is underpinned by a focus and passion for delivering business results through and with people. His strength lies in forming positive relationships quickly and easily.
