“Juniper” is a 2011 AQHA registered mare that has been used in the Sandhills, canyons, creek bottoms, sale barn and arena. I have cov-ered a lot of miles on this mare and have roped a ton of cattle on her. I headed and heeled steers here at home in the arena this summer, pasture roped bulls, cows, yearlings, and calves on her, she keeps the rope tight when doctoring and stays quiet while working. She has been used to sort in the pens, pen back cattle at the sale barn, she has sorting flags used on and around her on sale days, she doesn’t care about having cattle pushed by her in a narrow alley. She can take a ton of pressure in high pressure situations. She works alone or with company, hobble broke, loads easy, backs off a trailer easy, stands quiet in the trailer and tied on the fence, runs with geldings and gets along with everything.

has the drive to go all day. Lopes nice circles, flexes, moves off leg pressure, and spins. She is started on barrels and poles, and just needs hauled to be finished. With limited times being entered she has picked up money. She is a total sweetheart with no buck, bite, or kick. She runs with geldings and does not act marish at all and is low man on the totem pole. She loads, stands tied, and is good for the farrier. Current on shots and worming and has tested negative for Coggins. Floated in April. She has always been barefoot, no maintenance, and is a super easy keeper. We do not suggest this mare for anyone inexperienced as she does have a big motor and wants to move out.
