On June 19, 1997, the Commission recerved a Pet11JOO for leave to Intervene from U S WEST Communications, Inc (U S WEST) US WEST stated 1hat 1t ls the latgest purchaser of switched access from local exchange earners and II belleves that intervention should be granled due to the pecunlary 1nlerests involved.
