• Discuss recent evidence related to diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases in both the general population and the elderly.

• Describe new diagnostic tools and evidence-based treatment options for patients with melanoma.

• Identify novel targets in acne treatment and the potential role of probiotics in managing acne vulgaris.

• Define relevant and current updates to key coding and billing strategies specific to dermatologists.

• Compare and contrast the benefits, risks, and costs involved in the different treatment options for psoriasis.

• Explain how to analyze patient medications, comorbidities, and dermatologic needs, in order to avoid adverse drug interactions.

• Assess how new information related to hair follicle biology can enhance or improve treatment of the most common types of hair thinning and loss.

• Summarize the diagnostic and triage algorithms for dermoscopy.

• Describe how photodynamic therapy (PDT) works and in which cases this therapy might be appropriate.

• Distinguish the role of the Microbiome, as well as their benefits and risks of probiotic use.
