The Training Symposium (May 14th - 18th) will cover a wide range of criminal gangs, taught by recognized experts in the field of street gangs and related topics. The subject matter will be beneficial to all law enforcement personnel and is projected to include the following topics ** CLASSES SUBJECT TO CHANGE ** * Officer Safety Working Gangs * Human Trafficking/Exploitation * Principles of Deadly Force * Cartel Case Study * Gang Social Media Investigations * Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs * Source/CI Development * Prison Gang Culture MONDAY TRAINING TRACKS – PLEASE SELECT ONE Track A: Gang Recognition, Identification, Intervention and Prevention Strategies (Gangs 101) Track B: Prosecution Ethics and Gang Expert Testimony Track C: Human Source Development (C.I. development) – taught by Aaron Stein Track D: TBD ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO: Law Enforcement Personnel, Corrections Staff, Parole/Probation, Prosecutors, Crime Analysts and other related agencies desiring the most current information regarding gangs. Identification will be REQUIRED. Supplemental Training Day on Monday May 14th Gang Recognition, Identification, Intervention and Prevention Strategies (Gangs 101) We offer this course to all those who work in fields where they may come in contact with the criminal gang element. Those people would include all Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, Probation, Educators, Counselors, Faith-Based Community leaders, etc. Identification will be REQUIRED.
