The aim of this newsletter is to give you the latest news from Swedish Life Cycle Center & Swedishplatform for the life cycle perspective and the opportunity for you to get involved in ournetworking activities.
LATEST NEWS
Just before the summer holiday, the center together with the project “Swedish platform for the life cycleperspective” arranged a seminar at Almedalen “How environmentally friendly are electric vehicles?With a life cycle perspective we can get the answers!” The seminar is avaliable here (In Swedish). Theoverall aim was to highlight the life cycle perspective and how it is applied in the field of electricvehicles. The seminar was well attended, despite the storm outside, and the panelist did a great job todescribe their view on this topic from their perspectives.
In August, the Swedish Energy Agency invited Swedish Life Cycle Center and Vattenfall to a seminar atthe Swedish Energy Agency to present the project "Swedish platform for the life cycle perspective, to

introduce the life cycle perspective and to learn from Vattenfall how the life cycle perspective and lifecycle assessment can be applied in decision making, read more here.

Almedalen 2019Swedish Life Cycle Center visited Visby and the Almedalen Week for a few days and arrangedthe seminar “How environmentally friendly are electric vehicles? With a life cycle perspective weget the answers!”. The discussion took place at the Sustainability Arena and was arranged as apart of the Swedish platform for the life cycle perspective. Around 100 audiences were there tofind out more about how life cycle assessment creates opportunities for a sustainable vehiclefleet.
