Aiace is a member of the new generation ofsinger/songwriters from Bahia, Brazil. She presents anurban and contemporary language, using brazilianpopular music, jazz and pop/rock elements, but notforgetting afro bahian ancestral roots.

Her solo project comes from the need to show a moreintimate interpretation taking the listener to a placefull of textures and nuances that dialog with mostseveral musical references, dressed with thesweetness and expressivity from Aiace's voice.

Her first album solo, titled"Dentro Ali", present as starringguests Luiz Melodia and LazzoMatumbi, huge names of thebrazilian popular music.Thisalbum was present among thebest releases of 2017 byspecialized sites such asEmbrulhador.

WITH THE FEET ON THEGROUND

Graduated In Popular Singing at Federal University of Bahia, Aiace hasestablished herself as a point of reference within the independentBahian music scene.

At the age of sixteen shewas already singing in afew venues of the city ofSalvador. In 2009 shejoined the Afro SymphonyOrchestra, led byconductor Bira Marques,the group promotes a mixfrom orchestral, jazz andAfro bahia music.

In 2010, with AndersonCunha (viola guitar) andDiogo Flórez (percussion),Aiace founded Sertanília,a group marked by theessence of the braziliansonority and inspired bythe culture of the musicproduced in thecountryside of Bahia.Withthem has two discsreleased Ancestral andGratia, both nominated forthe award Brazilian MusicPrize (Prêmio da MúsicaBrasileira), and collectspresentations inside andoutside the nationalterritory.

Ten years together,Sertanília stands out withpresentations throughoutBrazil and Europe, like:Lisbon and Coimbra,Tensamba Festival inMadrid, Brazilian SummerSessions Festival inAmsterdam, andWOMEX14 in Santiago deCompostela.

Her music careerbegan really early

In her solo performances,we highlight the FestivalPsicodália 2019, MusicaMundo 2018, FIMS 2018 –International SouthernMusic Fair, AtlantikaldiaFestival 2018 (BasqueCountry / Spain), FestivalVirada Salvador 2020.Now, Aiace is getting readyto release her newestsingle "Amarelocura",scheduled for January2020.
