From the Principal – Katherine Holman It is that time of year when we do our surveys. The Parent

Opinion Survey went out earlier this week and already we

have had 42 responses which is fantastic. We will

continue to send reminders until the 11th of September

when the survey closes. You can access the survey on the

link that is pasted below or via the email that was sent to

you. The survey only takes less than 10 minutes and

provides us with valuable information about what is going

well and what we could improve. Each year we have a

great response to the survey and this year we are trying to

beat 100 responses. It would be great if you could help us

achieve this goal.

Sports Day

With the COVID – 19 restrictions it is unfortunately

looking unlikely that we will be able to have parents

attend at our Sports Day. We have sought advice and

most schools have or are intending to hold their Sports

Days without parents. This is largely due to the

complications of everyone on site would have to fill in

a COVID- 19 form and we would have to monitor social

distancing and these issues alone make it unmanageable

on what is normally a hectic day. This is very

disappointing as we know this is always a great

community event however we are trying to ensure the

children still have the opportunity to participate. Should

anything change we will advise the community as soon as

possible. The canteen will be selling orders but we are

unable to have a sausage sizzle or volunteers to sell cakes

etc as we normally do.

We will have to assess all other scheduled events as they

get closer and follow Department and SA Health

directives and advice.
