The 2019 Construction Book is divided into seven sections: one representing projects spanning the entire district or multiple counties and one representing each of the six counties in the district.

Award dates, expected completion dates, project descriptions, project locations, costs, and maintenance of traffic are listed. The listed estimated cost for a project is for the construction phase only.

This project includes removing and replacing Ultrathin Friction Course to extend the service life of the concrete until it requires a structural overlay.

This project includes the construction of Superpave Asphalt Mixture designs for a new ramp, traffic signals, drainage, sidewalk and other miscellaneous construction.

Work involves reconstruction and realignment of the intersection to include the addition of turning lanes and a new traffic signal. The intersection of State Route 197 and Circuit Street will also be widened to include turning lanes.

This project will include the full rebuild of the signalized intersection of US 6N and State Route 198 in Elk Creek Township, Erie County.

Rebuild will include improvements including 12" LED signal heads, reflectorized back plates, tunnel visors, improved visibility through proper indexing on mast arms, enhanced detection, and improved timings.

Description:

This project includes resurfacing 4.0 miles on State Route 6 from Sheffield to the McKean County line in Sheffield Township, Warren County. The project also includes resurfacing on State Route 1006 and State Route 6006 in the City of Warren, Warren County.

This project includes 1.32 miles of resurfacing (betterment) on State Route 27 from Hosmer Run Road to State Route 426 in Pittsfield Township, Warren County. This project also includes MPMS 57185: the replacement of the superstructure of the State Route 27 (Grand Street) Bridge over the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad in Pittsfield Township, Warren County. The bridge is 174 feet long.

This project includes repairs to landslides on State Route 62 in Hickory Township in Forest County and Watson and Limestone townships, Warren County.

Work involves repairing the landslides to maintain the integrity of the roadway by various means, including geosynthetic reinforced soil slopes and soldier pile retaining walls.

This project includes the Department Force bridge replacement of the State Route 3002 (McGraw Road) bridge over Pine Creek in Southwest Township and Warren County.

The bridge is 21 feet in length and will be replaced with pre-cast channel beams and set back abutments.

This project includes 6.07 miles of resurfacing on State Route 957 from the Erie County line to Lottsville in Columbus and Freehold Townships, Warren County.

IA Construction Corporation will be the contractor for this project.
