2019 CWI/CWEPrep Course Schedule

COURSE TITLE: Certified Welding Inspector/Certified Welding Educator
COST: $1250
TIME: 8:00am - 4:30pm (half hour lunch)
LOCATION: 1144 N. Graham Street Allentown, PA 18109
DAILY SCHEDULE: Day 1-3 General ReviewDay 4 D1.1 Code Clinic Day 5-6 Hands-on Clinic
CWE Registrants are not required to take Day 4, D1.1 Code Clinic. For this portion of the course, registrants have the option of taking a Welder Qualification Test at WTTI. A valid Welder Qualification is a requirement for CWE certification.
To schedule your Welder Qualification Test, contact WTTI’s AWS ATF at: 1-800-223-WTTI.
CWI and CWE certifications can be achieved simultaneously. If you are applying for both, you must also complete the following for CWE certification:
• Contact the AWS and register for the CWE exam• Teach full or part time• Provide a written reference letter from your teaching supervisor.• Hold a valid Welder Qualification
Registrants who currently hold CWI, SCWI, or CAWI do not have additional testing requirements for CWE certification if they meet the criteria listed above.
