Bradford-Union Counties:

Welcome to the 2019 Bradford County Fair! This year’s theme is “Hometown Heroes...your hero is our hero! “.

We want everyone to enjoy themselves at our hometown fair featuring the patriotic folks of Bradford and Union counties. We are continually working to improve our fair and this year is no exception with an exciting midway and awesome exhibits.

On behalf of the Bradford County Fair Association, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many dedi-cated individuals who have worked very hard to make this event a success. The help and support of each and every person in the community who is involved is greatly appreci-ated.

There are many local businesses and industries that pro-vide employment opportunities for our community. The Bradford County Fair provides an informative environ-ment which supports and promotes those businesses and industries. It is our mission to make the Bradford County Fair a safe and fun fair for the whole family. Thank you and remember “your hero is our hero! “.

Nicole “Nikki” Fried Commissioner Of Agriculture

Welcome to the Bradford County Fair! Each year, approximately 5 million people attend one of the numerous fairs around our state. As Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, I am enthusiastic about the positive impact fairs and livestock shows have on the agricultural industry. Events like the Bradford County Fair are an excellent platform for showcasing the finest “Fresh from Florida” products as well as the industry’s latest techno-logical advancements and innovations. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services created and maintains the “Fresh from Florida” program, which assists small and large producers alike by promoting the wide variety of high quality products that are grown and harvested in Florida. I hope we can also count on your support of this program - just look for items with the “Fresh from Florida” label. To-gether, we can help our state’s agricultural industry thrive.

While you are visiting the Bradford County Fair today, I hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding food, entertainment, contests and youth exhibits. Most importantly, I hope your day at the fair will allow you to experience Florida’s agricultural roots and its impact on our great state. En-joy!

Sincerely,

COMMISSIONER NICOLE “NIKKI” FRIED

COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE

Swine Association 2019 Show & Sale

Revised: September 2018

Rules & Regulations: Failure to comply with all the following rules and regulations may result in expulsion from the 2019 BUSA Show and Sale and/or result in refusal from showing in future shows. A Grievance Committee appointed by the President will rule on infractions that are submitted in writing within 48 hours of an incident and determine penalties for the exhibitor(s). Any person paying for a membership and/or exhibitor’s fee at the October 2018 meeting will agree this event establishes acceptance of these rules and regula-tions as voted and accepted by two-thirds vote of the board and current membership present during the September 2018 meeting.

Any exhibitor that fails to meet any of the requirements set forth in this document regardless if fault is with the exhibitor themselves, parents, guardians, school, church, or clubs MUST deliver in writing the issue that caused the requirements not to be met and their argument on why they should not be removed from the show and/or sale within 48 hours of the incident to Nicole Barnes, Paul Huntley, Jennifer Orton or Penny Hersey in person. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to arrange to meet one of the above mentioned and deliver the letter. A phone call will not be counted as part of the 48-hour requirement; the letter itself has to be delivered within the set time line. The letter will be forwarded to the grievance committee, the committee will then meet at their earliest convenience to determine the outcome of the event and then notify the exhibitor, Officers and Board of Directors of their decision.

ALL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE DECISIONS ARE FINAL!

Exhibitor Requirements: 1. Anyone wishing to enter the 2019 BUSA Show and Sale must, along with their
