Since all districts achieved a minimum 80% participation rate on TCAP assessments, schools will not receive letter grades or ratings for the results of the 2020-21 school year. Districts and schools that are held harmless will not be
subject to accountability consequences. On this year’s Report Card, the department will provide
additional information on assessment participation rates. Districts and schools that are held harmless will be identified
by the letter “H”.
