Last Tutoring Workshop of the Semester

• “How to Build your Vocabulary”

• Thurs, July 18th,

• at 12:30-1:15 in 302 Boucke.

•

• Would you ever say "Yo dude, whassup?" to a professor instead of "How are you?"  Would you tell your friend "I'm so sorry I lied to you," or "I regret to inform you that I have deceived your trust."? In this workshop, Candace will let you learn some informal and formal vocabulary that can help you function better in your academic and non-academic life. You will also practice switching between formal and informal language. Plus, you will learn about some tricks how to make new vocabulary stick in your memory.
