Sacred Heart Church will host the final 'Summer Saturdays at Sacred Heart' on August 28 .
We have enjoyed two fun " Summer Saturdays at Sacred Heart " and are looking forward to the last Saturdaywhich will be August 28th . The day will start at the Farkle Farm on Dixon Branch at 3:00 for water play, biblestudy, crafts and songs . Children should wear creek shoes and bring a towel , sun screen , dry clothes andshoes and bug spray . We invite all of the families and all of the parish to a covered dish meal at 5:30 and tothe outdoor Mass at 7:00 . We would love to have some volunteers to help watch the kids while they enjoythe creek if any of you can help with that. (Our rain plan will be to meet at the PLC at 3:00 that day, attendthe 5:30 Mass and have our covered dish meal after Mass in the PLC . ) For more information, contactVicki Beckman at 931-279-0844 .

Volunteers Needed !
The Train Ride that we use at the 4th of July Picnic is in need of reconstruction . If you are
willing to take on all or part of this reconstruction, please contact the parish office 931-853-4370 .
Library & Cafeteria Volunteers Needed
If you would like to volunteer, we have opportunities in the cafeteria and library . The library could use an additional volunteeron Tuesdays when students K-4th grades are in the library . The cafeteria needs volunteers daily . If you or someone you knowcould volunteer a couple of hours a week or every other week, it would be greatly appreciated . All volunteers are required tohave background checks ( provided by Sacred Heart ) . All parents or parishioners who want to volunteer at any time, areencouraged to go to CMGconnect.org , register for a new account . Call 853-4370 for background check question .

Every weekend in September is available for Sacred Heart's Altar Flowers.
If you would like to give the flowers in honor of or in memory of someone, please
contact Connie Passarella to schedule your date . You may bring your own flowers or
contact Loretto Florist and they will deliver them on the Saturday afternoon of the
weekend you are scheduled.
