PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTAll media who have been issued credentials - season, day-of-game or training -

are expected to follow the guidelines set forth in this document, as well as the instruc-tions of the Revolution staff, stadium employees and security, or risk limitation ofaccess or revocation of credentials.

Media access issued with the purpose of providing access to interviews and writ-ten, audio and visual accounts of the team, as appropriate. No member of the mediashould use this access for autographs, personal photographs or commercial requests.

MEDIA SERVICESPress Releases: Requests to be added to the Revolution's media distribution

should be emailed to [email protected]. Media Guides: A limited number of digital and printed media guides will be made

available to regular and national media in 2010. A full PDF version of the media guidewill be available on revolutionsoccer.net, and all statistical and biographical informationwill also be continually updated on revolutionsoccer.net.

Official Web Site: revolutionsoccer.net is the official web site of the New EnglandRevolution. All content posted on the site by the team may be republished in its entiretyby media outlets, with credit cited as "New England Revolution." Note that user-gener-ated content, including user comments, photos and videos, MAY NOT be republishedwithout explicit permission.

Video: Media are welcome to embed videos that appear on revolutionsoccer.net. B-roll & Interviews: With sufficient notice, the Revolution Communications staff will

usually be able to provide footage and interviews by request. To request b-roll or pre-taped interviews, please e-mail [email protected] to inquire about availability.

Twitter: twitter.com/NERevolution (username: @nerevolution) is the official Twitterpage of the New England Revolution and features breaking news and new contentposted to revolutionsoccer.net. Media are welcome to re-tweet Revolution content, including play-by-play accounts, using the "RT @nerevolution" or "via @nerevolution"tags.

Head shots & Action Photos: The New England Revolution maintains updatedheadshots on all members of the active roster, including coaches and staff, and has agrowing archive that includes players from within the last five seasons and most higher-profile players from the team's history. The team also has a growing archive of actionshots of the same groups of personnel, which is available for use by members of themedia with proper photo credit.

MEDIA ATTENDING TRAINING SESSIONSIn general, training sessions throughout the season are open to the media. In your

coverage of daily sessions, we ask for your cooperation in observing the following prac-tice policies:

1. Please do not report on match strategy deployed at training. Thisincludes describing specific formations, personnel groupings, set piecesand combinations.2. Please do not quote, paraphrase or report the comments made bycoaches, staff or players during a training session.

GENERAL SECURITY POLICIESBecause of security procedures in place at Gillette Stadium, any member of the

media who wishes to attend a training session at the stadium's practice fields or on themain stadium field must inform the Revolution Communications staff before the close ofbusiness the day before you wish to come. We cannot guarantee admittance to the sta-dium grounds if we are not aware that you are planning to come to training.

CHECKING IN AT GILLETTE STADIUMAll members of the media who attend any Revolution training session at Gillette

Stadium must check in at Security Command, located at the south end of the stadium(through the doors under the red awning). All members of the media who have RSVPdwith the Revs Communications staff will be on a list at the check-in window. Pleasehave proper forms of ID available, which can include MLS season credentials.

GAMEDAY CREDENTIALSMedia members who are not issued season credentials must apply for gameday

credentials to the Revolution Communications staff no later than two business daysbefore the match (5 p.m. on Thursdays for Saturday and Sunday matches, 5 p.m. onMondays for Wednesday matches). All requests will be reviewed and media will be noti-fied if they have been approved for credentials no later than 24 hours before kickoff.

MEDIA WILL CALLMedia Will Call is located at the south end of the stadium at Security Command

(through the doors under the red awning). This is for press and photo credentialsonly. All game tickets will be left at the ticket office in the north end zone (Patriot PlaceGate).

MEDIA PARKINGFor the majority of the season, all media are to park in Lot 6 for both training and

games unless otherwise directed. To enter the stadium, please use the North Entrance(P1) off Rt. 1 and stop at the security gatehouse at the entrance to Gillette Stadium. You will be directed to Lot 6, or the in-use lot, from there.

PLAYER AND STAFF INTERVIEWSAll interviews for Revolution players, coaches, executives and staff must be

coordinated through the Communications office.Training: Unless weather conditions preclude it, all player and staff interviews will

be conducted on the practice fields at the conclusion of the training session. All inter-view requests will be collected by members of the Communications staff during thetraining session. Generally, head coach Steve Nicol will be available first, followed bythe players after they have completed their cool down.

Any interview requests that will require additional time with a player or coachshould be made well in advance so that we can make the appropriate arrangements. Please contact a member of the Revolution Communications staff to facilitate all inter-view requests.

Gamedays: The Revs’ locker room is open for 60 minutes beginning two hoursbefore kickoff. All media will be asked to clear the locker room 60 minutes before kick-off. This is both at home and on the road. Visiting teams at Gillette Stadium may havedifferent pregame policies, but must also allow pregame access in some manner.

Following the final whistle of the game, teams will be afforded a 10-minute coolingoff period in their locker rooms. Following that time, Steve Nicol will conduct a pressconference in the production studio, and the team’s locker room will be opened to themedia. (Please note that the Revs’ locker room will not be opened before the pressconference begins.) Visiting teams may have different postgame policies so media isadvised to check with visiting team PR officials for their protocols.

STILL PHOTOGRAPHERSTraining: Still photographers will be allowed to shoot each practice in its entirety.

All photographers are to remain off the playing field and should stay behind the side-line markings of the field. If you are in need of a specific shot or angle that is not includ-ed in this area, please see a member of the Communications staff for assistance.

There will be times during practice that the team will practice set pieces, cornerkicks and specific team formations. The team requests that these portions of trainingnot be photographed and not be reported on. Thank you in advance for your under-standing and cooperation.

Gamedays: All still photographers must wear the photo bib that was issued tothem at media will call. Failure to wear the bib while out on the field could result in dis-missal from the stadium.

Photographers should set up in the Media Work Room, located at the north end ofthe stadium service tunnel. A light meal and beverages will be provided in this roombefore the game. During Patriots Training Camp (late July- mid-August), all photogra-phers must set up in the Blue Level Press Box and no photographers will be allowed inthe Media Work Room.

GAMEDAY PHOTOGRAPHER REGULATIONSOnly photographers who are shooting for an accredited media outlet or wire serv-

ice will be credentialled for games. Freelance photographers will not be credentialled.Photographers will be escorted to midfield prior to the game in order to shoot startinglineups and team photos. At the conclusion of those opportunities, all photographersmust adhere to the following MLS-issued photographer guidelines:

1. General photographers are allowed to shoot the game from the endlineonly.

2. No photographer is allowed to shoot directly behind the goal, andmust be off to either side of the goal stanchions.

3. Photographers must remain at one end of the field for the duration ofthe half, and are only allowed to switch ends at halftime.

4. No one with a photo credential is allowed in the technical (bench) areaat any time, including warm-ups.

TV PHOTOGRAPHERSTV cameras will be allowed to shoot training in its entirety, however, there will be

instances - such as set pieces, corner kicks and penalty kicks - where a member of theRevolution Communications staff will ask all TV photographers to stop shooting for abrief time period.

At games, local ENG and news crews will be allowed to shoot the first 15 minutesof each half. At the 15:00 and 60:00 marks of the game, all video cameras must beturned off.
