The impressive Prowler scope, which is a “fully-operational” pocket scope by itself, can be configured into systems that enable you to see at night, at great distances.
The improved Prowler scope (4300i) construction utilizes high-specification, Gen. III light amplification tubes within an aluminum body. It incorporates an internal “flood light illuminator” that allows night viewing up to 200 feet. An optional laser illuminator (51) can be attached to meet the demands for wider or longer range night vision requirements, with capabilities of well over 2 miles.
The Prowler night vision systems 745A (for fixed-lens camcorders) and 745B-1 (for Canon XL series camcorders) supply the necessary relay and camcorder bracket required to mount the Prowler night vision scope to your camcorder.
The versatile Prowler is designed with a C-mount front lens mount, and includes a removable 50mm f/1.3 C-mount lens. Depending on your objective requirements, an array of other C-mount lenses may be configured, or the multi-purposed Prowler accepts 35mm lenses when optional 709A series lens adapters are implemented for your Nikon, Canon, Minolta, or Pentax 35mm lenses. The 745B1 includes the necessary attachments that allow the Prowler to attach to the Canon XL series camcorders. The optional 709A-XL adapter will allow Canon’s video 6x, 16x, or 20x lenses to attach to the Prowler.
