How to use this presentation
This presentation is a training tool for those wishing to use the
LCCA Tool, and train others in its use.
This presentation and the accompanying notes (using Normalrather than Slideshow view) explain how to operate the
spreadsheet by explaining its contents and showing example
calculations.
They also show you how to use the tool as part of the building
procurement process.

Notes on Using LCCA Tool for Buildings
PLEASE NOTE: We have kept the tool as simple as possible.
As buildings are very complex and vary hugely the tool
cannot tell you all you need to take into account.
A whole range of costs may need to be summed up in
one entry.
You may need to devise your own checklist for tenders
that is relevant to the particular building type and
construction type. Ideally, this should be done in consultation with your
maintenance staff.
Example 3 in this presentation will explain this further.

years.
