All of us want to achieve our goals in Life. But are we all successful in achieving them? Why is it that some people are

able to realize their goals while others spend their whole life to find out what their goal is, what their purpose of life is!

Find out answers to all the questions mentioned above by participating in a 2 day work shop titled “Habits for achieving Personal and Interpersonal Effectiveness” like so many others have.

Do we understand the meaning of effectiveness in relationships or, like many others; we try be efficient with people? What is the

right way of Living?

How can we cope with day to day

challenges and how can we overcome and rise above our present

circumstances?

How do we learn to take charge of our lives? And how do we make our

lives meaningful?

How do we lead our life in a truly effective and

successful way? And what is the mantra for achieving personal and professional

goals?

What can help us develop better relationships

with associates and loved ones?

Let me thank you for a very productive and life-enriching 2-day workshop. The way you had delivered the topics had allowed me to understand better the 7 Habits… You had also made me realize a lot of things in my life – both personal and professionally – which at first I was in a state of pure denial and I can really feel my defense mechanisms running into my veins… But as we move on to our discussions, I came to accept that at “every finger pointing I make on other people for shortcomings I experience, 4 of the fingers are pointing at me”… I had come to realize and accept, that in whatever is happening in my life – I rule the game, no one else, since I am responsible for all things in my life. I should have taken real control and consciousness of what is going on… Plan for everything and not just be dependent on what comes…which might eventually go… I now see the importance of always having an end goal and a well-defined means to reach all what I wanted in life…may it be short-term or long-term… You are so instrumental to all of these realizations I am having now… This is a good start for me and I will always look forward to each day as I journey to a more fruitful life.

Again, my sincerest gratitude to your valued time and knowledge/experiences shared to us.

Rainelda C. de Boda (Pinkie) Director| Human Resources PCCW Teleservices (Philippines) Inc.

Thank you so much for taking 2 days of your busy schedule to share your passion with all of us.

I attended the 7 Habits at a different phase of my career and after your session, it hit me on a personal level, where I’m also at a different phase of my life. Your session gave me more reason to be a better person and really seek to understand first than to be understood. I’ve written a reminder to myself today to ask my 13 year old daughter to write her own Mission and goal in life, something I wouldn’t have thought of doing prior your session. There are a lot of other aspects where I know I can use in my personal life and thank you for being another tool to help me continue to be better.

What’s different with your facilitation skills with other facilitators is your SINCERE PASSION to help and spread the wealth of LOVE. The last video you shared got me in tears to be honest, and grateful that you shared it.

All the best as you continue to lead and touch many more lives whether you know it or not :)

Till the next workshop….cheers!

Firstly, I would like to thank you for coming up with a workshop like this, I can honestly say that it’s among there in the ranks as one of the best days I’ve spent in my lifetime. While I’ve read the book already, it is through this workshop that I’ve had realizations, and motivated me to start rewriting my script towards a better life.

I am happy to get the chance to hear you talk and facilitate, you really are an effective facilitator. The examples you provided are very helpful and are easily relatable. I admire how you practice the habits and I envy you because I can see and feel that you already have your core principles in place. I hope someday I will be able to establish my core and make my daily decisions based on it.

Just a question though, will you be providing the presentation you used? It would be a great reference along with my notes so I’ll have something to look at every day, at least until I am living and breathing the habits :).

There are not enough words to show my appreciation and my admiration to you and your way of life. I hope we can keep in touch, and I hope I can reach out to you anytime for guidance and counseling about life in general.

Thank you again, Raj! More power to you and more blessings!

Thanks much for the very enriching 2-day workshop on the habits on how to achieve effective personal and interpersonal relationships, not only in the workplace but for our day-to-day experience.

I have started today… Though it crossed my mind yesterday that the principles and concepts discussed are difficult to implement, I am challenging myself to be a better person every single day with the guidance of the 7 Habits, with your facilitation.

As have been stated in a slide of your presentation, “A thousand-mile journey starts with the first step.” This struck me.

Now, I am putting my foot down to make myself live and breathe the 7 Habits, with my principles as my core.

Again, my sincerest gratitude goes to you. God bless you and your family.

I may not have participated much during the workshop (and, worst, may not even remember me :)…but I’d like you to know that this workshop meant a lot to me. I have spent the previous months questioning if I really am for the role that I am currently in….always doubting my capacity and skills. But during the workshop, I saw myself from a different perspective and have identified how I should make the best out of this life. I spent most of my time in the workshop contemplating in silence on how powerful self-leadership is, and how I have always bypassed this in how I go about my role.

I learned a lot from your experiences (as well as the rest who shared)…and am taking this with me to become a better person, not just in the workplace, but also in my personal life.

I have written down this mission (although didn’t get the chance to share it), which I intend to live out as my guiding principle in life --- “I commit to make a positive impact to each person I engage with by influencing them to see life from a positive perspective through my words and actions, to learn as much wisdom as I can from each soul I meet along my path, and to always live LOVE out as my highest truth in this lifetime.”

You inspire, and I hope that you inspire more.

First, I would like to thank you for investing your personal time to deliver such a valuable workshop. This is great example of contributing to the society and community we operate in. It was a great learning session for me, and I hope for everyone who attended.

I always wanted to learn more about the 7-Habits and finally had the opportunity to connect with you and learn. Each Habit we discussed has challenged me internally and made me re-think about all the decisions I made in the past. I have started working on the first three habits and I am hoping a good change in myself after applying these.

Please let me know if you’re planning to conduct another session on the same topic, I would like some other members of my team to attend as well.

Replying to your email on the same day, not sure if I am operating in quadrant one. :)

Again, thank you very much for the learning, I hope we stay connected. Have a nice day!

First, I would like to extend my felicitations to you for a successful 2-day workshop. Honestly, I admire you as a facilitator because not only do you know your subject matter, but more importantly, you have a good sense of humor! And because of this, your participants – us never got bored nor tired listening, even if some concepts were really difficult to understand. We were inspired to think and not depend on Google.

By and large, the entire workshop for me had a huge impact. When you asked about failures, I told myself I can easily relate with this. That is why, I was comfortable opening up and sharing. Although, there were moments when I felt uncomfortable sharing because of the positions the other participants have. I felt a little shy. But, you were accommodating and made the environment light.

I would consider myself relatively successful in my career at this point. In fact, I am lucky because PCCW had given me a chance to do what I love to do, and even gave me a bonus when I was promoted this year to an HR Specialist Position. Even declared as the Employee of the Year for 2013. But when you were going through the workshop, there were some realizations happening, like when I became part of HR, I was literally in quadrant 1. I thought everything was important and urgent. Moreover, I may have written down my program, but failed to run it, to execute it. I may have that attitude of coming up with the best idea or anything, but that’s about it. Perhaps, I need to understand Habit 3, so I can move.

Indeed, the entire workshop was a great help, not only for those who manage people, but for those whose lives need to have a certain kind of order or alignment, for them to easily relate to other people. It is helpful to ordinary people, just so their lives can be less complicated. I think it is inspiring, enriching and truly life changing. Since I have interest in public speaking as well, and for the past three years now, I am the one who conducts the New Employee Orientation, I hope that in the future, I may be given a task of providing workshops as well for Organization Development, where I may use this topic in order for me to share my talent and in my own little way, positively influence my colleagues and the other members of our organization. As you know, promotions in the BPO are faster than we think, and some individuals are not yet ready to assume leadership and to manage people. I definitely believe the 7 Habits would be a good start for them, so their journey to success in their careers would have meaning, would affect other people positively, and for them to simply enjoy their lives.

With everything that I have learned, I believe that in one way or the other, I know these habits that you have discussed. I may be doing these, but perhaps not as often as it should be carried out. But it is true that I have to breathe and live these habits in order for me to be a highly effective individual. And because of this, I will be able to consistently live as well my Personal Mission Statement.

“Change our paradigm.” Please allow me to use this in some instances in my orientations. Thanks much!

God speed!

I was very happy to attend the workshop and I did pick up a lot of valuable pointers on how to better myself. What made it more meaningful for me is that I am also going through some personal and professional struggles and I really hope I will be able to imbibe the teachings of the course.

May I also inquire on how I can possibly become a facilitator for such character-building courses? Perhaps I can “give back” and be of service to others by helping out in this manner.

Wish you all the best and hope to receive schedules for your upcoming workshops.

Thank you!

Page 5: 2nd Workshop Profile - Habits for achieving personal and interpersonal effectiveness

The workshop was wonderful. In so many aspects, it has helped me realize these things:

1. there’s too much sand in my life 2. i don’t really know what my big rocks are 3. people are people, and are not things 4. things are just things

Here’s my feedback about you as a facilitator:

1. you encouraged all of us to participate 2. you were able to establish rapport with the group, i felt comfortable to share what’s on my mind and i didn’t feel intimidated by you or the crowd 3. good to hear your own experiences (and others’ as well) while discussing the topics, it makes them easier to understand

I learned so much that I cannot even summarize now. As I went home, I was contemplating on the last 2 days, and how the timing is so perfect now at this point in my career and personal life.

Even before i went to the workshop, I was already planning to share with my team (Sales & Marketing) whatever I will learn from you, and now that the workshop is over, I am trying to think of a good way of sharing what I learned, in a way that they will be as encouraged as me when I left the training room. However, I don’t think this is possible, but I will try my best. :)

I would like to express my utmost gratitude not only for spending 2 days on that workshop with us (I was luckily picked to attend), but also having the heart to teach and change lives. I am glad to have said yes to this opportunity. I hope to attend one of your workshops again.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

First of all I would like to thank you for sharing your wisdom to us. It is a gift given to you and I have always believed that whatever we receive we should give twice as much or more. You can rely on me that I will forever be speaking about these lessons from you.

The things I will mention below are all based on my personal preference and not in any way must be taken as the absolute truth.

I like how straightforward you are with the attendees.

I love how you would tap your experiences and connect them with every lesson. This is very effective as we can identify ourselves with you and we see through your eyes.

I appreciate how professional you are dealing with varying types of personalities but you also stayed honest and firm with your statements.

I like the holistic structure of the material and the way that it was delivered, holding tightly to the general outline and not going too off topic which I think was very helpful in keeping the momentum of the learning.

I appreciate how approachable and warm you are with everybody, which I think invites us to be more open to you, therefore making ourselves either consciously or subconsciously more drawn and receptive of your lessons.

That’s all for me sir. Thank you so much...

Page 6: 2nd Workshop Profile - Habits for achieving personal and interpersonal effectiveness

I am thankful for this workshop that served as an eye opener for me to be more effective with regard to all the aspects of my life.

I am working on the mission that I have to start as early as now.

I developed more patience and just value the important and bigger things and ignore small things that don’t really matter.

I am making more EBA not because of the return of investment right away but of the future reason.

I am happy to know that I am taking care of myself based on the P/PC Balance we discussed and contributes my time to the community with the help of our company that shares the same vision,

“We Give Where We Live”.

One thing though, I would like to ask if principles should always be applied in matters we weigh our decisions, does this mean that we won’t consider our emotions anymore?

To show fairness at all times?

Do we always have to be logical or sometimes we have to consider our feelings for others to feel that we empathize with them.

I don’t want to be called heart of stone J but I don’t want to make decisions based on feelings either since it’s biased.

I would like to follow your other workshops that will definitely be of help for me. If it’s not too much to ask, pls. send me invites again.

Thank you and pls. continue empowering others with the gifts God has given you.

The workshop was amazing. Sorry I was intimidated by the level of expertise and experience of my classmates there that’s why I was not able to participate so much. You are attracting a lot of high caliber participants!

Yesterday I was able to put in practice some of your lessons by talking with each of my teammates and the effect was like magic, now I know that most of my problems can be solved by effective communication (empathic listening).

I wish you luck in everything that you do and your plans in building your own training school and help more people! And if someday you will be able to publish a book I will buy one.

Thank you so much for the gold mine of knowledge!

I personally want to extend my gratitude and appreciation for being one of your participants in your two days workshop. It was a perfect time for me to assess myself using your tools and techniques in my day to day work. I did not feel any boredom nor sleepy on your discussions because it was lively and you were fond of giving actual and real life examples. There was a good interaction between you and the participants. I’m looking forward to be one of the participants in your future workshops. Keep up the good work and continue to share your blessings for we will remember your training legacy. More power to your personal vision and mission in life. God continuously bless you and your family.

The last two days where inspiring and thought provoking.

I would have to say that in all the training / seminars I have attended over the years this was certainly the best for my personal development and you as a facilitator is world class. If you are ever looking for a business partner, call me!!

I look forward to now becoming a better person, more at ease and much more controlled with my emotions all because of how you explained what we are really made of.

You turned the light on and I thank you for that. I now look to being a better person because of your teachings.

I look forward to catching up with you either at a IBPAP meeting or another course that you hold in the future & promise I will contribute much more.

Thank you for what was my resurrection and all the very best to you, your daughter and wife for many years to come.

I can say that it was SUPERB! What I’ve personally experienced is relatively GREAT overall. The real life experiences you shared and your dedication and commitment about the topic you have discussed is truly remarkable. Not only that, the impact that it made me to strengthen my character and principles in life is truly valuable.

I look forward to be part of your workshop once again. Please never get tired in sharing your advocacies in life. I’ll include you in my prayers so that you could touch positively more lives and making their office environment a healthy and happy workplace to be in with.

My warmest regards and salute!

GodFRey Medenilla Operations Manager, ECI Quest

Thank you! I am glad Van forced me to join the workshop, it is meaningful than what I initially expected. I’ve attended trainings in the past but never did I have anything that has impacted me this much.

The workshop makes a lot of sense and the experiences shared all throughout even made the picture clearer.

This morning, I was greeted by a challenging email involving my boss but I am glad to say that unlike before where I would normally react furiously and come up with my assumptions, I responded differently. I admittedly felt negative about it but after reading, I took a moment of silence to assess what could’ve possibly lead him to decide without consulting me when he knows that it will highly impact my team. I calmly responded to his email. I spoke with him openly about it just this afternoon and although the outcome still wasn’t completely good, he did listen and tweaked his decision a bit.

I agree that it is very difficult to be proactive but I guess the fact that I am aware at that very moment is a good start. The difference now is that I know that I am in charge of my life and I am accountable for my actions.

Also, you’d be happy to hear that I made a conscious effort to smile at everyone at work today.

Thanks very much for the valuable realizations you’ve facilitated. I will definitely carry on.

God bless! Cheers,

ClaR Bosch Communication Center

Raj, It was simply awesome. Time spent will not go in vain, that’s for sure. I plan to share a lot of it with my family, friends and at work too. I enjoyed it and learned a lot from you. At your young age you impacted an older person like me, I respect that and admire how you conduct such workshop. You are a no-none-sense speaker, communicator and a true leader. 9 to 5 pm to finish all, is a concept I learned from a top CEO of a public company in NY, one of my clients, and now I heard it again from you. I pray and hope at 66, God will keep me energetic, clear headed, strong memory and healthy with my daily fruit juice and brown rice and less salt and more Gummy bears

You stay healthy and blessed my friend and mentor.

I want to thank you for the wonderful workshop you conducted. Keep your fire burning and may your circle of influence reach and touch more people’s lives. Now, on to the feedback. Hope you don’t mind if I refer to you in the third person perspective.

I must say I was impressed with the speaker’s knowledge and delivery of the subject. He was able to convey his messages clearly, effectively, and zestfully. I also noticed that he provides meaningful answers to questions raised by participants. The life lessons he shared will be more valuable when experienced organically, aside from knowing it theoretically. In summary, I would recommend this workshop to my colleagues. It’s really a tasty treat for the soul. I hope future participants will enjoy and benefit from his workshop.

More power, Raj!

I attended a workshop facilitated by Rajesh in Manila, Philippines, on “Habits for Achieving Personal and Interpersonal Effectiveness”. He completely blew everyone away with his simple yet very effective approach to help understand some of known yet unknown areas of our life. He is an absolute genius and a world class facilitator. He has changed the way I see the world now.

I have recently started implementing some major changes to my diet chart in order to lead a healthier life because of the “P/PC Balance” principle I learned from the workshop, that is , production based on production capability where production capability in “Personal P/PC Balance” ties back to your health.

The 10:90 principle I learned in the workshop has changed the way I see the world - which is 10% of our life depends on what happens to us & 90% of our life depends on how we respond.

Lastly, learnt how to make deposits in someone’s emotional bank account so that some despite withdrawing sometime, the balance of trust will still be high.

Something I learned outside the workshop which can only be learned in Rajesh’s presence is

“Love All, Serve All Help Ever, Hurt Never”

Manuj Bhasin Service Delivery Manager, IBM

Page 9: 2nd Workshop Profile - Habits for achieving personal and interpersonal effectiveness

So fortunate that I have attended 7 Habits of Highly Effective People facilitated by Raj. Raj managed to conduct the training effectively and reached the whole message to me up to now (even when the workshop has long ended already).

The workshop itself and Raj were really inspiring so as up to now I still re-visit my notes and made me think a lot. From the start it made me step back and pause from my daily life. It helped me sort things out and reflect on them. From then on I am starting to re-invent some stuffs (with new found guided direction). I still fail sometimes but I’m looking forward to be an effective person :)

Workshops like this one indeed offer a lot of learning that may actually change our life, well in a good way.

Looking forward to attend more of your workshops Raj!

Continue inspiring people, may it be through your words or just your whole lively personality.

Many thanks!!!

The 2 day workshop on “habits for achieving personal and interpersonal effectiveness” was an eye-opener for me.

I had realized the importance of character, goals, mission, and principles in life. I learned a lot from the videos and hopefully I will be able to share it as well to others. I feel to have become a better person after the workshop because it made me realize how important it is to set your own weather…

The 7 habits are some areas where I need to work on.

I’m glad to have attended the workshop because I now know how to set my priorities at work and at home.

I have highly recommended this workshop to my manager and our company as well.

Regardless of the position or title, any person will be able to learn and realize the importance of these habits in life thru this workshop.

More power to you. You are doing a good job!

Hope to see you again and wish me luck in applying all the learnings from the workshop.

aBiGail QuiMPo Team Lead – Warranty Department, Nidec-Motor

Thank you for the two fruitful days you spent with us to share your experiences and to give inspiration. It is a challenge to make a “workshop on Effectiveness” become effective but you made it happen. I like the combination of your actual presentation with video and audio with reflection after. Very well presented!

Just to share, yesterday, I also had my own seminar for a technical/vocational school students about “winning an interview” and I shared with them some of the learnings I had from our session.

More than the technical context of interview, I have shared with them that it is their character and competence that will get them to be hired. Also, “it is the talent that will get you in, but it will be your character that will keep you inside.”

May you continue to inspire more leaders. Looking forward for more workshops in the near future.

It was a great two-day for me! It was a breather and an eye-opener. The workshop was indeed able to meet and manage my expectations for I sure learned a lot!

I have to admit that it will be difficult, Raj, to apply all these concepts at once. Although we have the fundamentals of the 7 Habits through you, I think we will not be as effective as expected if we don’t apply the habits to ourselves first. Like you said, it has to start from us. We need to develop personal leadership first before we become leaders to others.

I still have a long way to go, and I know that it will be a bumpy ride, but I have to start somewhere, right? So when I came back to work, I immediately did something that proactive people do: forgive and forget.

In the workshop, I realized that in a team, relationship matters the most. I think I will be able to build relationships in my team if I make amends to people first. Instead of blaming someone or something why things happened, I put myself in the “cause” equation and it actually set me free. It’s not that I have enemies or haters at work. I’m saying this because I want to make it a habit and part of my life moving forward J. And you know what, instead of feeling victimized of the circumstances; I feel like I have more control and it makes me feel stronger. Instead of pointing fingers, I feel like I have the power to right things and solve problems, and it’s freeing, Raj! From there, I started to listen to understand, and I know that somehow, if not completely, I have also been understood.

Like I said earlier, I still have a lot of practice to do, but this is a good start. If I haven’t been there, I think I will still be stuck, stressed, sad and victimized. I hope that sooner or later, I will be able to see the beauty of life and bring back my faith in humanity.

Thanks so much, Raj! I hope you won’t stop inspiring people!
