Omni™ Menus
1. Press the FHR menu on Omni main screen and set desired fetal heart rate by pressing the + or – button. Press OK to accept the value and to return to the main screen.
2. Select the SPEED menu on Omni main screen and change the delivery time by increasing or decreasing the minutes. Press OK to accept the changes and to return to the main screen.
4. Once the shoulders are delivered, complete delivery of the baby.
To finish with the session, press RESET to return the delivering mechanism to its initial position. To turn off Omni, unplug the communication and power cable.
Gather the following items for use with your birthingsimulator:
- Articulating birthing fetus - Communication cable - NOELLE power supply - NOELLE’s abdominal cover - NOELLE’s legs - NOELLE’s torso with head - Omni™ controller - Lubricant

1. Place NOELLE on a flat surface.2. Remove the wing nuts, washers, springs, from the hip sockets.3. Remove the intramuscular injection pad from each leg.4. Slide bolt on hip sockets through the hole in the upper leg.5. Reach through the intramuscular site and attach the first washer, spring, second washer and lastly the wing nut.6. Tighten nut until the spring is compressed slightly.7. Remove the abdominal cover and other materials packed within the abdomen.8. Connect the speaker cable, exiting NOELLE’s abdominal cover, to the port located on the right hand side of the birthing mechanism.
1. Connect the power supply cable to the power input located on NOELLE’s right hand side.
2. Connect the communication cable to NOELLE’s right side and to Omni.
A startup screen is seen while Omni is booting up.
After the startup screen, Omni will automatically proceed to the main screen.
Information about the current labor settings is displayed in the center of the screen. The right sideof the screen contains the menu buttons.

1. Insert the cervix and vulva in the pelvis as shown. Lubricate thoroughly.
2. Lubricate the head and shoulders of the articulating birthing fetus.
3. Attach the umbilical cord to the fetus and to the placenta.
4. Attach the placenta, using the Velcro® fastener, to any of the three designated sites on the abdominal wall.
5. Connect cylindrical adapters, with blue markers aligned, to birthing mechanism. Attach fetus to the birthing extension as shown.
3. After confirming the labor settings, press RESUME to start the delivery. The fetus rotates twice as it moves forward. Help the fetal head and shoulders through thevulva.

Birthing Simulator with the Omni™ controller. Omniwas designed by Gaumard Scientific to ease birthingsimulations and the operation of NOELLE®. Omni isa hand held device with a centered LCD display andlateral soft buttons used to access menus and tochange parameters during simulations.
This quick start guide will guide you through thesetup of NOELLE® and Omni. It will tell you how touse the simulator during a normal delivery and willprovide you many tips on using your new system.Please review the NOELLE® User Guide for detailedinformation on all the items included with thesystem, for additional operational instructions,warnings and safety information.

The Code Blue® feature is a CPR training toolincorporated in the Omni controller. Code Blue wasdesigned to help teach CPR by assessing compressionsand ventilations.
NOELLE is pre-calibrated to current CPR guidelines attime of manufacture. In the event that standardschange, your Omni unit is easy to recalibrate. Refer tothe calibration section of NOELLE User Guide.Monitor compressions and ventilations with the bargraphs displayed on the left side of the screen. TrainCPR with audible prompts for compressions andventilations.
