    Destination-columns in Matrix

The engineering is done in the configuration matrix. To allocate information, DIGSI provides two columns as

    destination for the system interface

S System Interface with default protection indications (app.10%)

and control indications assigned to logical nodes

X Extended system interface with additional SIPROTEC-

information (app. 90%) and user defined information

    (Recommendation) embedded in logical nodes

    Destination-columns in Matrix

Which indication/information will be configured with which destination column?

    indications/informations described by standard:1.) predefined:

will be configured to Systeminterface S (and cant also be deleted or changed)additionally a configuration to Extended Systeminterface X is possible (so all

indications appear in logical device EXT)

    2.) user specific:

will be configured to Systeminterface S, automatically to logical device CTRL,

Extended Systeminterface X is not possible

    indications/informations described out of standard:

1.) predefined:will be configured to Extended Systeminterface X, Systeminterface S

    is not possible

2.) user specific:will be configured to Systeminterface S, automatically to logical device CTRL

and Logical node GGIO, Extended Systeminterface X is not possible

    Application-specific interconnection lists

    Interconnections arealways combined in

    applications. This is

    ideal to keep the

    overview even in the

    case of a huge

    amount of inter-

    connected information.

    Standard and SIPROTEC text

We pick up the user in his/her usual world:

Apart from the standard text, he/she also sees the

text of the assigned SIPROTEC object or at least a

text in accordance with the SIPROTEC language

    world.
