A company that would publish my

magazine could be Bauer media. They

also publish Kerrang magazine which has a

similar target audience to mine.

Bauer media publish many brands of

magazines, these include:

channels. However I have only listed the

magazines.

Kerrang has a very similar target audience as my

magazine. They are both aimed at slightly more

males than females. They will both also be aimed at

teenagers and people in their early 20’s who love

rock music.

Both match and car would be aimed at a

male audience showing that Bauer would

suit my magazine.

Rockit! would appeal to a slightly more

male audience. It would appeal to an

ABC1 audience also as it isn’t too

expensive. The age of my target audience

would be 13-25 so it is a youthful magazine.

The main part of my target audience

though is rock music lovers!

Kerrang, which is the most successful rock magazine also has a very popular radio station and website. To make my magazine a success I would definitely have to have a good website to go with it. The website would need to have good content on it and run smoothly to be successful. Kerrang does this very well. They have a popular radio station which they can use to advertise their magazine, and they can use the magazine to advertise their website and radio. This means that they can make a lot of money using their own advertisement as people who like the radio station might go out and buy the magazine, or people who like the magazine may start listening to the radio station making Kerrang’sdifferent types of media very popular.

Bauer media has a 50% stake in Box Television

and also owns Bauer radio.

Bauer media has been privately owned by the Bauer family

since it was founded in 1875.

Bauer media publish Kerrang, I know

Rockit would suit Bauer as they are similar

magazines in terms of target audience

and content.
