2015 ND Fall Leadership Conference Summary

Last month we held our Second Annual Fall Leadership Conference at Mayville State University. Here our members, as well as the state officer team, got to meet other students from around our fine

state. We all took part in icebreakers and networking. Immediately following that, Mr. Terry Kemmer, our Keynote Speaker, talked to us about leadership and this year’s theme, “Innovate, Inspire, and

Ignite”. While all of us did this, our advisors had a meeting. There, they discussed changes and even added a new event, Clinical Specialty, to this year’s Spring Leadership Conference. We all joined

back together for lunch. Following lunch, our members split up for Breakout Sessions. The

breakout sessions were split into four. Three of our breakout sessions were medical, which was put on by the nursing students from Mayville

State. The fourth breakout session focused

on leadership and was put on by your State Officers. We came together again to wrap-up and to say our final thank you and goodbyes.
