    The ceo of abc co. discussed with vice-president regardingovertime of 3hr for accountants with extra remuneration, so thatthe books of accounts can be finished early and co. could start

    the process of external audit on time. The vice-presidentcommunicated to accounts manager regarding the same, managertransferred this message to senior accountant asked for instantfeed- back, senior accountant approached accountants for the

    same and gets a positive feedback. Then senior accountant

    reported the same to accounts manager. The accounts managerimmediately reported to vice president and communicated the

    feedback. The vice president arranged a meeting with CEO, andinformed him about the positive feedback of accountants. CEO

    finalised to start the overtime procedure from the starting of new

    month.

    The chief engineer of abc co. submitted a proposal for additionalgenerators. The cost of each generator was around Rs.50,000 he

    gave some technical justification for additional generators. Thenote went to the finance manager, who was disagreed to thisexpenditure. He was concerned that there was no budget

    provision and the chief engineer had been submitting too manyproposals without planning for them at start of the year. He also

    felt that the additional generators are unnecessary. He elaboratedhis concern in his written response to the proposal and argued

    against this expenditure.
