The Following was in the local Newspapers on the Death of Catherine Walsh, who was the mother of Bridget “Walsh” McCauley of Corning. By Louis Kavanaugh Jr. with Information supplied by Mary Ann Watkins

Also printed information was found in the old newspaper concerning a correction on the death of Nicholas Walsh, which was Catherine’s Walsh’s Husband. There were no headlines just mixed in with a column in the newspaper so we have added a headline and retyped it but left the information the same. It was hard to read the newspaper as it was from the 1900’s.

Burial Information on

Margaret "Maggie" Walsh & Her Husband, Daniel Brewer

Buried at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in an Unmarked Grave.

Margaret: Born Sept. 1870, Died Mar. 17, 1904 Daniel Brewer: Born 1837, Died Sept. 10, 1902

Note: Margaret had conflicting dates of her birth, 1870 and 1871. In records of the Cemetery at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, it showed she was 33 years old at the time of her death. If she was born in Sept. of 1870 and died in March of 1904, she would have been 33 years of age at the time of her death. Below find a grave.com showed her death in 1871 and do not believe that to be correct. In the record of St. Patrick’s Cemetery it listed them as no marker on grave site and we do not know what part of the Cemetery they were buried in. We did not find any children listed for Margaret and Daniel Brewer.
