the delaire graff estate in stellenbosch is world-renowned for its art,

hospitality, wine and breathtaking location, nestled beneath the majestic

mountains, overlooking the stellenbosch vineyards. the opening of graff

diamonds’ new flagship African store at the estate gives visitors to the

Cape winelands yet another reason to stay a little longer.

the eco-architecture-inspired peach-pip floor at the estate, leads the

way from the entrance to the store, allowing visitors to view a number of

magnificent artworks along the way, created by some of south Africa’s

most influential artists. on arrival at the store, you are greeted by a striking

exterior; stone walls in natural tones, echoing the spectacular landscape

surrounding the estate, are positioned alongside a contemporary open

grille punctuated by the distinctive graff Icon motif.

Created by graff diamonds’ monaco-based interior design team, each

exquisite detail draws influence from African and Cape dutch styling,

incorporating a rich colour palette and a luxurious array of fixtures and

fittings. the vaulted ceiling provides an airy yet luxurious feel to the 586

square foot interior, with opulent showcases lining the walls of the store,

boasting unique one-of-a-kind jewels, collection pieces and timepieces

from graff luxury watches. the stitched leather and ebony desks

provide the perfect place for an intimate viewing experience, where you

can appreciate the fine craftsmanship of graff diamonds’ distinctive

graff diamonds' newest watch design, the butterfly watch is the latest

incarnation of the classic butterfly collection and the updated butterfly

motif collection. these two stunning collections, featuring the beautiful,

delicate butterfly brought to life through a myriad of exquisite gemstones,

are a symbol of new beginnings.

Inspired by the delicate symmetry of the wings of the butterfly, the

butterfly watch is a modern reworking of this timeless subject,

interpreted through the finest quality gemstones in the world. the

wings of the butterfly, comprised of a highly sculptural arrangement of

four dazzling pear-shape diamonds, appear to hover above a layer of

intricately set gemstones, ready to take off in flight. each stone has been

carefully hand selected and set by graff’s master craftsmen, ensuring

that only the finest quality stones are used. At the centre of the watch is a

delicate pavé diamond timepiece, an exemplary model of flawless swiss

watch making skill.

Available in a graceful all-diamond design set on an elegant black satin

strap, and also in striking gemstone versions including richly coloured

sapphires, rubies and emeralds, set with complementary coloured

straps, the butterfly watch is another shining example of graff’s
