Stored Energy Solutions for a Demanding World!
• Check the screws and other connection to ensure a reliable installation.
• Have a data read test for the batteries with software, and download the
information into the computer. If the displays passed, then we can know the
battery is well and the parameter settings are right.
• Please fill in related forms after installation and debugging, check and record
battery conditions. Ask the user to sign and confirm the records.
• Please turn off the switch of the batteries if main power is not connected.
• Please recharge the battery before put into use according to operation manual, or
it will do great harm to battery.

Maintenance
In order to assure service life, the batteries should be correctly inspected and maintained. Maintenance procedures are
recommended as follows:
1 Monthly Maintenance
— Keep the battery-room clean.
— Measure and record the ambient temperature of the battery-room.
— Check each battery’s cleanness; check damage and overheating trace of the terminal, container and lid.
— Measure and record the total voltage and current of the online battery system to make sure no abnormal system issue.
2 Quarterly Maintenance
— Repeat monthly inspection.
— Discharge battery and recharge battery to 80%SOC
— Measure and record voltage of individual cell during discharge
3 Yearly Maintenance
— Repeat quarterly maintenance and inspection.
— Check whether connectors are loose or not and tight them
— Make a discharge test to check with exact load, discharging 50% of rated capacity.
Maintenance in warehouseWhat is our product
54
1. Discharge test Periodicity
Optional every 3 months per once.
2. Rate of Discharge
Discharge current according to load power and discharge rate no more than 0.2C.
3. Depth of discharge
a) 50%DOD;
b) Discharge end voltage: 48V.
Maintenance for long floating batteryWhat is our product
1. Insufficient Charge
If charge voltage is not set correctly (lower than 3.8Vpc or 54.75V per 48V string), the battery system
will in an insufficient charge state, which may not impact battery service life, but may reduce battery
backup time as request.
2. Over Charge
If charge voltage is not set correctly (higher than 3.8Vpc individual or 54.75V per 48V string), the
battery system will be over charged, which may impact battery service life and even bring further safety
issue.
3. Too low or too high temperature
Too low temperature will affect the capacity of battery when discharge, and may destroy battery when
charge. While too high temperature will also cause problems, such as water loss, life decrease, thermal
runaway, deformation, etc.
Maintenance precautionsWhat is our product
Reasons:1. If communication failed and LED turn off which means BMS is not work, might be caused by B-/B+ cable or
sensor cable looseness;2. LED flashing but communication failed, might be used wrong PC software;3. LED flashing but communication failed, might be used wrong 485 to USB communication cable;4. LED flashing but communication failed, might be connection of 485 to USB communication cable is not well;5. LED flashing but communication failed, might be chosen wrong ADD channel;6. LED flashing but communication failed, might be 485 to USB communication cable broken.7. LED flashing but communication failed, might be BMS failed.
Solution:1. For reason a): Make sure B-/B+ cable and all sensor cables are connected well, if still looseness, please change
new cables;2. For reason b): Use right PC software;3. For reason c): Replace right 485 to USB communication cable;4. For reason d): Detect connection of 485 to USB communication cable, if still looseness, please change new
cables;5. For reason e): Choose right ADD channel;6. For reason f): Replace right 485 to USB communication cable;7. For reason g): Make sure U6 component is failed, if yes, return to the factory for repair.

Battery module can'tdischarge
1)Low voltage protection is activated
Check if battery is over discharged.Read BMS if individual cell voltage has been lower than 2.5V
Charging the battery for at least 3hours
2)Over temperature protection
Check if battery temperature is higher than 70℃ or lower than 0℃
Regulate environment temperature to between 65℃to -5 ℃
3) Output is short circuit Visual checkRelieve short circuit and charging
4) Over load protection
Check if the load capacity (A) is higher then the limitation of battery module discharge current:1, Measure load capacity, or2, Check history data of
Remove unimportant load and recharge battery;Or, add more battery modules in parallel for proper backup
5) System failure
Check if BMS is fail1, check if is on working properlyIf yes, 2, check if indicator light of battery module is on; 3, battery information data can be monitor
Replace the BMS in battery module if it is failure
Battery module can'tcharge
6)In full charged, normal stopped by charging control
Check if battery is fully charged1, Read BMS if individual cell voltage is higher than 3.7V
Skip
7)Over temperature protection
