3. Function of the Circulatory System
- The heart pumps blood to the lungs and the rest of the body.
4. Blood Vessels
- Blood is being transferred through 3 types of vessels:
- - Arteries
- - Capillaries
- - Veins
5. Blood Pressure
- - Wave of fluid pressure in the arteries
- Sphygmomanometer is a machine to measure blood pressure.
- Normal blood pressure 120/80
6. Disorders
- Some disorders in the circulatory system are:
- - High Blood Pressure
- - Heart Attack
- - Stroke
- - Sickle cell anemia
7. The Organs of the Respiratory System
- The 6 main organs of the Respiratory System are:
- - Nose
- - Pharynx
- - Larynx
- - Trachea
- - Bronchi
- - Lungs
8. Gas Exchange
- Carbon dioxide is being exchanged with oxygen.
9. Breathing
- When you breathe in (inhale) the diaphragm contracts.
- When you breathe out(exhale) the diaphragm relaxes.
10. How is breathing controlled?
- It is controlled by the brain.
- Also, its controlled by the level of carbon dioxide in the blood.

- The 3 main substance in tobacco are:

- - Carbon Monoxide
- - Tar
- There are 3 diseases you can get from smoking:
