Cut Away.

A cut away is the interruption of a continuously filmed action followed by inserting a view of something else. A cut away shot does not necessarily contribute to any dramatic content of its own. Editors use it to assemble a longer sequence. For this reason, editors choose cut away shots related to the main action, such as another action or object in the same location. In this case the editors chose show a 3seconds cut away of Nick Clegg’s view on press regulation before quickly cutting away to a new headline.
