Reading
Read the following paragraphs about this house for rent in France. Then, answer the questions which follow.
C’est une maison impeccable avec trois étages. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a une cuisine, un salon, une salle à manger
et les toilettes. La cuisine est très grande et belle. La salle à manger est de grandeur moyenne. Dans le salon, il y a
une cheminée pour quand il fait froid. Il y a aussi une très belle terrasse où on peut dîner en plein air. A côté de la
terrasse est un joli jardin pour les chiens.
Au premier étage, il y a quatre chambres. Dans une des chambres, il y a un bureau avec un ordinateur. Si on veut,
on peut y travailler. Dans les autres trois chambres, il y a des commodes et des armoires pour les vêtements.
Au deuxième étage, il y a deux autres chambres qui sont très petites. C’était les chambres des serviteurs.
Comme vous pouvez voir, vous pouvez y passer de très bonnes vacances !

Writing Write a paragraph in French of at least ten sentences. Vary your sentence structure so that each
sentence does not begin with the same subject + verb. Make sure to use some transition words, such as
d’abord, et, ensuite, puis, finalement, etc, and use a variety of verbs, -er, -ir, -re, aller, vouloir, pouvoir, and
