T he 5-Star Fund is a philanthropic giving program designed to engage 

the loyal alumni, students, family and friends of  Ole Miss and allow 

them to take ownership in Rebel Athletics with an annual gift from 

$1-$4,999. Revenue generated from the 5-Star Fund will be directed toward 

attracting 5-Star recruits who have the potential to become leaders of  tomorrow.

As we build momentum and continue our quest for championships, it is imperative 

for the entire Ole Miss Family to unite and capitalize on our recent successes. It is 

a great time to be a Rebel, and whether you are a season-ticket holder or admire 

Ole Miss from afar, the future depends on you! Now is the time to show your

Q:What are the benefits of joining the 5-Star Fund?

A:  In addition to knowing that your gift can make a difference, the UMAA Foundation has composed an attractive stewardship program. All contributions to the 5-Star Fund are 100% tax deductible and will be added to your cumulative giving to Ole Miss Athletics. Your support will help Ole Miss become one of  the most sought after destinations for the nation’s top recruits.

Q: How does the 5-Star Fund affect my UMAA Foundation Priority Seating Memberships for Football, Basketball, and Baseball?

A:  You will receive priority points for your donations to the 5-Star Fund in the same manner as priority seating membership. Your support of  the 5-Star Fund is completely voluntary and over and above whatever donations you are already making to the UMAA Foundation priority seating funds for football, men’s basketball, and baseball. 

Q: If I can continue purchasing my season tickets through the UMAA Foundation Priority Seating Funds, why should I contribute to the 5-Star Fund?

A: The ability to attract the nation’s top student-athletes is paramount to our success in the SEC. As such, it is critical that Ole Miss provide our coaches and student-athletes with the resources and facilities to compete for SEC and NCAA championships. Your contribution, at any level, will serve as an investment in the future of  Ole Miss Athletics.

Q: What if I am not a season ticket holder?

A:  The continued success of  Ole Miss Athletics is dependent on mass participation in the 5-Star Fund, regardless of  your current giving status. Your support will help us remain competitive with other universities in the SEC and nationwide. 

Q:What is the membership length of the 5-Star Fund?

A: The 5-Star Fund is an annual membership that runs on a calendar year from January 1 – December 31. You can join anytime during the calendar year. Benefits will be distributed accordingly during the year.

Q:How do I join the 5-Star Fund?
