Meow, what a crazy year this has been! And yet we managed to present the show you are seeing before you. Have you ever counted the amount of people involved in a theatre production, even in a close-knit community like ours? Well, I tried, and I lost count, but the number is definitely in the triple digits! What you see before you is SO much more than anything I did as a Director. What you see is the magic of a story, a vision, a group of people who dedicated hours of love to this theatre, and so much more.

What’s that you say? It’s magic? I agree!

If I had to sum up in one sentence what my favorite thing about theatre is, and particularly this show, it would be “the child-like spirit that theatre brings out of us.” Charlotte’s Web is a story that will never fail to touch that part of us that adulthood has buried. It shows us the strength of friendship, and how the tiniest among us can often be the most powerful. This is a lesson that everyone can still learn to this day, especially in these hard times when it is so easy to forget the little things amidst everything that is happening around us.

Among the many people I am thankful for, I have to particularly thank a few: my father, who let me borrow so many different things any time I asked, and Tim, my Co-Director and man of many talents, for stressing himself out about everything so I wouldn’t have to.
