G. "DOCK" DOCKERY, DPM, FACFASis a Fellow and Past Board of Director of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Foot & Ankle Dermatology, the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics. Dr. Dockery is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and is Board Certified in Podiatric Orthopedics by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Distinguished Practitioner in the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Division of the National Academies of Practice. He was voted “One of America’s 175 Most Influential Podiatrist” of 2006 and voted as “Movers and Shakers: America’s Most Influential Podiatrists” in 2012, by the Podiatry Management Magazine Editors & Advisors. He has published more than 140 scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and he founded the International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Education and Research in 1979 and is currently the Chairman of the Board and the Director of Scientific Affairs of that organization.

STEVEN R. KRAVITZ, DPM, FAPWHc, FACFASis a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and Certified in Wound Healing by the Council for Medical Education and Testing. He is the Founder and President of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH) and the Council for Medical Education and Testing (CMET). He is an Assistant Professor for the Advanced Wound Healing Center, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he has served continuously as faculty for 35 years. He continues to do research and author multiple articles; he is an internationally known speaker on wound healing and related topics.

ROBERT W. GIERING, MD, MS is a board certified physician in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management. He is currently the medical director and owner of Taconic Spine, a spine center of excellence in Manchester Center, Vermont. Dr. Giering specializes in developing optimized non-surgical treatment options for spine and chronic pain conditions. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the North American Spine Society. He is a member of the Vermont Medical Society and more recently has served on the Governor of Vermont’s ad hoc committee on Pain Management, helping to formulate opioid policy at the state level. Dr. Giering has published book chapters and numerous scholarly articles and abstracts.

ROBERT BUSCH, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism and is in private practice as a founding member of The Endocrine Group in Albany, NY. He is also an Attending Physician (and past Chief of Endocrinology) at St. Peter’s Hospital and the Medical Director at the Diabetes Treatment Center in Albany Memorial Hospital. He is a faculty member at Albany’s Hudson Valley Physician’s Assistants Program and on the Board of Trustees of the Albany College of Pharmacy. His publication history is extensive and includes several pieces regarding patients with type 2 diabetes.

BRYAN C. MARKINSON, DPM is the Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Associate Professor in the Leni and Peter W. May Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Markinson founded the Podiatric Pathology service at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Currently, he is an instructor in the Department of Dermatologic Surgery and Team Member of the Skin Cancer and Melanoma Unit of the Tisch Cancer Center. In 2004, he was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Council for Nail Disorders, a position he still holds. His areas of special interest are skin and nail fungal infections, pedal melanoma, soft tissue masses, pedal dermatitis, longitudinal melanonychia, and podiatric dermatological risk management.

DANIEL J. HATCH, DPM, FACFASDr. Hatch’s number-one goal is offering patients improved mobility so they can better their health. After receiving his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Hatch began specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction and pediatric clubfoot. Dr. Hatch has served as the past president of both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is Board certified in foot and ankle surgery and podiatric orthopedics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

JAMES DEJESUS, DPM is Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is currently the Chief of Podiatric Surgery at St Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. He is also the site director at Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center for the Yale Podiatric Surgical Residency program. He is on the executive board for Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center in Waterbury and also co-manager for the surgical center. Dr. DeJesus is vice-president of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He is an active consultant for Arthrex Corporation and is on the medical education faculty of Arthrex Distal Extremity Division.

GUIDO LAPORTA, DPM, MS, FACFAS is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM) and completed his Residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Bay Area Residency Program in San Francisco. He received his Master’s degree in Podiatric Surgery from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. LaPorta has always been involved in the education of Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons since he began his professional career. He served as Chairman of the Department of Podiatric Surgery at TUSPM and founded Residency programs at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA and for the past 25 years has been Director of Podiatric Medical Education at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Dr. LaPorta is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (RRA), the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (Founding Member). He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American College of Foot Orthopedics and Medicine and National Academies of Practice in Podiatry.
