Mardi Gras Celebration Cancelled The Mardi Gras cultural potluck celebration, scheduled for Satur-day 2/14, has been cancelled. Seeing as how it was scheduled for St. Valentine’s Day, the Community Life Commission wanted parishioners to enjoy time with their loved ones on that day. There will be more fun parish-wide events occurring later in the year.
Why are some Christians bored and apathetic in their practice of the faith?
The answer is that they have probably not under-gone a spiritual awakening. They have no personal experience of the presence and power of Jesus Christ in their lives. The Catholic tradition has in-spiring and practical teachings about how to under-go a spiritual awaking. This is the theme of Fr. Kevin Joyce’s next Spirit-Seeker Seminar based on Ralph Martin’s book The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based on the Wisdom of the Saints (p.17-46). All are welcome.

9th Annual REVS vs SEMS Basketball Challenge
Come cheer on the priests and seminarians in the 9th Annual Revs vs Sems Basketball Challenge. The series is tied 4-4. Who will win the 9th? The game will be Friday, February 20, 7PM at the Leavy Center at Santa Clara University. All K-12 youth who are part of any basketball team have free admission if they wear their jerseys.
