The capacitive test point on the insulatingplug provides a means of testing the circuitwithout disturbing the bolted connection.In addition to the capacitive test point featureon the insulating plug, Chardon offers anoptional capacitive test point on theT-Bodyconnector.This allows the use of the faultindicators, and provides a hotstick operablemeans of determining circuit condition whenused with high impedance voltage sensingdevices designed for test points.

T-Body Connectors are designed for use onsolid dielectric cable (XLPE or EPR) withextruded semi-conductive shields andconcentric neutral, with or without a jacket.Installation on jacketed concentric neutralcable may require additional sealingmaterial.Aspecial grounding adapter isavailable for tape shield, linear corrugated,unishield, and drain wire cables for use withDeadbreak connectors.
