Amatrol’s 850-P1 Basic Pneumatics Learning System teaches fundamentals of pneumatic systems used in industrial, agricultural, and mobile applications.

Students learn industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, ana-lyze performance, and design basic pneumatic systems.

The model 850-P1 includes a mobile workstation, pneumatic actuator / valve component module, pneumatic instrumentation

panel, pneumatic hose and fi ttings set, student learning materials for both theory and lab, and teacher’s guide. This system uses industrial quality components to help students become better prepared for what they will encounter on the job and to with-stand frequent student use.

Additional learning systems are also available to extend the capabilities of the 850-P1 System to intermediate and advanced levels. The 850 series workstation accommodates three panels at the same time on its work surface and stores an additional four panels under the work surface.

Heavy Duty Workstation with Storage - The 850-P1’s mobile workstation is constructed of heavy-duty welded steel to provide a sturdy, long-lasting learning station. Stor-age slots are located under the work surface where stu-dents can conveniently store component panels until they are needed. Pneumatic hoses are also stored on the work-station in a lockable drawer.

Industrial Standard Components- The 850-P1 uses industrial standard components like those that students will commonly encounter in the fi eld. Even the transparent components are actual industrial components used by industries throughout the world. All pneumatic components are rated for 100 psi or above.

Real World Conditions - The system is also equipped with static and dynamic load devices to enable students to recreate the wide variety of conditions under which hydraulic and pneumatic systems typically operate.

Quick, Flexible Setup and Easy Inventory - Components are pre-mounted to modular panels and include quick discon-nect fi ttings to enable students to quickly set up circuits by elimi-nating the need for mechanical mounting. These pre-mounted panels also help teachers quickly inventory components and mini-mize loss and damage of compo-nents. The panels consist of a variety of components and can be interfaced to each other to enable students to set up many different applications.
