Twenty Knights from Starkville's Saint Joseph parish spent a hot October day erecting over 120crosses to promote the protection of life. "Each cross represents one of 154 abortions that happensevery hour in the United States." On this particular hot October day, the ground was so hard thatelectric drills were needed to drill holes into the ground to hold the crosses. However, the work andsweat that these men offered would be priceless if their efforts saved the life of one child.
