Students get free cleaning service if they book for 4 weeks or more (bedroom andcommon room). The cleaning service provided for free every 4 weeks. If a studentbooks less than 4 weeks of accommodation and the student wants to request acleaning for their residence, it would cost $50 for a cleaning regardless the room type.Bed linen and towels are changed for free every 4 weeks. The residence is approximately 20 minutes from the school. To travel to the school,follow the directions below:

Take the Blue Line from Crystal City Metro Station for 6 stops (20 minutes) toFarragut West Metro Station.

Exit the station at 17th and I Street. Walk along 17th Street next to Farragut Square. At the K Street intersection, continue slightly left onto Connecticut Avenue.Continue Northwest up Connecticut Avenue and you will see the entrance to the

Blake Building at 1025 Connecticut Avenue. The school is on the 7th floor in suite 701.You will need your ID to enter the building so please remember to bring your passport.

ACCOMMODATION FEATURES

If you have booked accommodation with EC you must arrive at the airport between08:00 and 20:00.

Late/early arrivals may be asked to book alternative accommodation.You will meet an EC transportation representative with EC Washington sign who willmeet you at the baggage claim for your flight if you arrive at Reagan National airport(DCA) or at Door 1 in front of International Arrivals if you arrive at Dulles Internationalairport (IAD).

If after waiting 10 minutes you cannot see the EC representative, just call 1-202-909-5873 (from the information desk or a cell phone).If your flight is missed, delayed, orcancelled, or if there is any other problem, you should notify EC by calling 1-202-909-5873 (from the information desk or a mobile phone) to rearrange your transfer time andavoid additional cost.

From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD):

Exit the airport from Door 4 and go upstairs to the Silver Line Express ticket counterand buy a ticket ($5).Take the Silver Line Express bus from just outside the ticket counter to Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station (15 minutes). At the Metro Station buy a Smartrip card orbuy a ticket to Crystal City Metro Station ($3.60 with a Smartrip card).Take the Silver Line Metro towards Largo Town Center and ride for 10 stops untilRosslyn Station (35 minutes).Change to the Blue Line towards Franconia/Springfield and ride for 4 stops untilCrystal City Metro station (8 minutes).Exit the station and walk via the underground walkway to Crystal Plaza Apartments.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA):

Exit from the Concourse (Level 2) at terminals A or B to get to Reagan Airport MetroStation and buy a Smartrip card or a ticket to Crystal City Metro ($1.75 with aSmartrip card).Take the Yellow Line towards toward Fort Totten/Greenbelt OR the Blue Line towardFranconia/Springfield for 1 stop until Crystal City Metro Station (2 minutes).

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI):

Take the BWI Amtrak/MARC Shuttle from the Airport Terminal between Doors 1 and 2to BWI Amtrak/MARC Station (4 stops, 12 minutes).Walk about 1min to the BWI Rail Station and take either the MARC or Amtrak train toWashington Union Station (30-45 minutes).Exit Union Station and look for ‘M’ signs to take you to Union Station Metro Station.Take the Red Line towards Shady Grove for 2 stops (4 minutes) to GalleryPlace/Chinatown Metro Station.Change to the Yellow Line toward Huntington for 5stops until Crystal City Metro Station (11 minutes). Follow as above.

A week before arrival we will be sendingthem instructions from the vendor. The student will pick up the key at thefollowing address: Pentagon City MineMerchant 1330 S Fern St, Arlington VA22202. The hours to collect your key are asfollow:Monday – Thursday 11:00 – 21:00Friday – Saturday 12:00 – 22:00Sunday 12:00 – 20:00 The keys cannot be collected before orafter those hours and they must be takenback to the pick-up location whendeparting. Students cancelling or postponing within14 days of arrival date, for reasons otherthan visa denial, will be charged a one-week accommodation fee at the standardaccommodation rate and theaccommodation placement fee.

Students leaving their accommodationmust give notice in writing 4 weeks priorto termination. After deducting the price ofaccommodation used, including therequired notice period, charged atstandard accommodation rates, studentswill be refunded the remainingaccommodation costs. If the 4-weeknotice period is not provided acancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of theaccommodation cost will apply.
