COOL HAND LUKALast season, Luka Garza became the sixth Hawkeye to average 22+pointspergameandfirstin49yearssinceFredBrownaver-aged27.6pointspergamein1971.HebecamethefourthBigTenplayer since 1993 to average at least 23 points per game (Glenn Robinson, Shawn Respert, and Carsen Edwards). Garza finished the 20-game conference schedule averaging26.2pointspergametobecomeIowa’sfirstscoringleaderinBigTen games only since Adam Haluska (21.3 ppg) in 2007.
