GEWEandWEDGEindicators.Thatis,removingthosethatcannolongerbeusedbecausenodataavailableandnointernationallyestablishedmethodologyorstandardsareyetavailablefortheindicator,butmethodology/standardsarebeing(orwillbe)developedortested.Thatis,developnewindicatorsthatcanbetakenfromavailablecensus/survey/administrative/register/non-traditionaldata.
(b) StrengthenthecollaborationandworkingrelationshipofthemembersofthePhilippineStatisticalSystemintermsofdatasharing,assistanceinimprovingthedatacollection,processingandtabulation,disseminationofaccurateandrelevantindicators

TheEPICtoolisalsoausefulmeansofrevisitinganygenderpolicydocumentthatisalreadyageing.TheMCWexistsince2008;hence,itneedstobereviewedspecificallythedifferentpolicystatements,therecommendedindicatorstobeusedwhetherthesearereallyproducedandavailableinthesourceagencies- eitherNGAsorLGUsInparticular:• Strengthenthelinkagesacrossdevelopmentpillars/multi-dimensionalityofissuesforaction;whetherthepolicyactionshavebeenimplemented;thecorrespondingMCWindicatorscanbeusedtomonitortheprogressofimplementation; ifthereareproblemsandissuesintheimplementationofpolicyactions,thenthereisaneedtorevisesuchpolicystatementsandactionsintheMCWthatwillsuittotheneedsofwomenandgirl-children.

StatisticsOfficebeingthemainofficeconductingalltypesofcensusesandgeneralpurposesurveysandcoordinatingthestatisticalactivitiesofthedifferentmembersofthesystem.SincetheEPICWorkshophadbeenconductedwiththethreeNGAsparticipating, theEPICtoolcanbeintroducedtotheothermembersofthePSSthroughmeetingsoftheInter-AgencyCommittees(IACs),TechnicalWorkingGroupsofIACs,workshops,etc.Alllinedepartments anditsattachedagenciesareparticipating intheirrespectiveIAC.Therearemorethan30IACsinthePSSthatsubmittedstatisticalactivitiesinthePSDP.Thesestatisticalactivitiesarethecontentsofthestatisticalworkplan.
