His work for the International Hydrographic Organization includes developing and maintaining standards and leading the development of S-100. Barrie chairs the IHO Transfer Standard Maintenance Application and Development Working Group (TSMAD).

White, Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, US NavyWhite has commanded Naval Training Meteorology and Oceanography Facility, Pensacola, Fla., and was the 50th Superintendent of the United States Naval Observatory. Other milestone leadership tours include serving as Executive Offi cer at the Naval Atlantic METOC Facility, Jacksonville, Fla.; and as Executive Offi cer at Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center in Monterey, Calif. He also served on the staff of the Oceanographer of the Navy (CNO NO96) in Washington, D.C.

Captain Martin Jones, Head Joint Geospatial Intelligence Branch, UK MoDHis early military data gathering experiences ranged from collecting bathymetry, oceanography and geophysical data from the Atlantic (both north and south), Belize, the Mediterranean and a signifi cant amount of the SW & NW approaches, serving in HM Ships BEAGLE, HECATE, ROEBUCK and HERALD. After a short assignment serving with the Defence Maritime Geospatial Intelligence Centre at UKHO as the Customer Relations Manager to defence users, he has recently re-joined the MOD to lead Joint Geospatial Intelligence assuming the role of Deputy Head JGI in December 2011.
