Proctors of Grand Council

Chapter 86, Growlersburg, ECV, Inc. is in receipt of your letter dated January 21, 2011 in which you advise our Chapter that Grand Council has rescinded our Charter. Once again, Grand Council has rejected the extended hand of brotherhood from Chapter 86 by refusing to respond to all of our letters to you in which we attempted to seek reasonable accommodation and establish a mutually beneficial affiliation agreement with your organization. Instead Grand Council has assumed a dictatorial attitude demanding unquestioned obedience to arbitrary rules.

Please be advised that our Charter as an independent nonprofit corporation, licensed by the State of California remains securely registered and intact with the State of California Department of Corporations. As such Chapter 86 fully intends to exercise our legal rights by continuing to conduct business as usual.

Chapter 86 therefore invites all Redshirts in good standing of all ECV Chapters who wish to leave the Stuffed Shirts behind and join with their Brothers of Equal Indignity in a true and traditional DOINS to attend the 4-Skin Doins on May 20 thru 22 at the Stumpy Meadows Group Campground east of Georgetown. This Doins is jointly sponsored by Major William Downie Chapter 1849, New Helvetia Chapter 5 and the fledgling Joseph Zumwalt Chapter 169. All PBCs and Retreads who complete the initiation will receive a Sheepskin and traveling card from all four Chapters.
