2. Who - Young Families What - Young families with newly acquired pets When - Weekly basis Where - Around the house Why - To aid the family, in particular young children, with pet care. 3. Children love pets. Many of them wish to get their first pets at ages as young as 4 or 5. But, the children soon take a back-seat in caring for their pet- with the parents taking over. This uses up valuable parental time, which could be used for other things. What can be done to stop this? Our Problem 4. How can we help children, independently, care for their pet? Core Question 5. Children often lose interest in pet care due to the complications. Many of the delicate parts of the care are lost due to ignorant families. Why our App is Solving this Problem 6. Our Pitch Our pitch explains the situation happening in families and also why our app would be useful to them in solving their problem. 7. The app could be very helpful for those we aimed the app at, but it may not help others. People say that it was easy to use. User Profiles 8. Many of the apps in which have the concept of pet care, are games. They involve virtual pets, with no relation to that of a real life pet. Our app is not a game, it is a guide or aid to real life pet care. Alternatives 9. Our core features are mainly the planner and notifications. Kids are often forgetful, so reminding them will help them develop the skills of having to take care of their pet all the time. Core Features 10.
