    CHALLENGES IN DEVELOPMENT

The challenges may be summed up as follows:

For interoperable CDMI compliant cloud products, CATS requires multiple servers

for successful testing of a test case scenario.

Also, there are multiple versions of CDMI specification available. In such cases, test

cases should be successful in earlier versions as well as newer versions.

CATS must be extensible & flexible enough to incorporate the changes involved.

CATS should be able to handle ambiguities involved in CDMI specification document.

It might not be able to incorporate maximum possible test case scenarios due to lack

of examples in CDMI specification document and imperfectness in imagination.

Business Overview OverviewSolace Systems is a middleware company based in Kanata, Ontario,

Canada that manufactures and sells message-oriented middleware

appliances. Messaging middleware appliances are rack-mountable

network devices that implement messaging functionality in purpose-

built hardware. The company claims that implementing these functions

in hardware enables higher throughput and lower, more consistentlatency than software alternatives.

Major Competitors : The company's major competitors areInformatica,

Tervela, TIBCO Software, andIBM(with their Web Sphere MQ Low

    Latency Messaging products).

    Primary Value Proposition

Reduce the cost and complexity of

    information distribution.

    Reduced architectural complexity.

    Reduced resource consumption.

    Reduced operating expenses.

Reduced cost to deploy & operate.

    More environment friendly.

Accelerate information distribution even in the

face of increasing volume and volatility.

    Supports high throughput.

    Supports low latency.

    Consistent & predictable performance
