The Outlaws

have been con-

tinuing to push

hard and get the

job done with

low staff. In the

past month, the

Outlaws have

had Soldiers at-

tend WLC and

MRT Locally.

Other Soldiers

have made

there way to Ro-

mania to aid in

the MK mission.

The redeploy-

ments of fellow

soldiers in Bava-

ria have slowed

down, so the

Outlaws have

transitioned

from constant

missions to fin-

ishing paper-

work and servic-

ing customers at

the CST. Speak-

ing of redeploy-

ments, Rear De-

tachment is hap-

pily awaiting the

return of the

rest of our Out-

laws serving

downrange. They

are expected to

be back home at

the end of the

month. They

have been doing

an excellent job

serving in Ku-

wait and Qatar.

After their re-

turn, they will

participate in re-

integration and

then go on block

leave. Once the

Soldiers return

from leave,

some will be set-

ting in back at

work while oth-

ers will be get-

ting ready to

PCS. We look

forward to hav-

ing a full detach-

ment again.

After attending Knight’s University in Baumholder

SPC Hargraves, Unshil was more than prepared as

she made her way to WLC. Warrior Leader Course

given by the 7th Army Noncommissioned Officers

Academy teaches specialist and other qualified Sol-

diers how to lead other Soldiers. This course pre-

pares them for what is to be expected as a future

NCO. She did a fantastic job and earned a spot on

the commandants list. The whole detachment

showed up to support SPC Hargraves at the gradua-

tion ceremony of class 05-2014 on Thursday, May

22th. She is now one step closer to being promoted

to SGT.

ASU Inspection

M A Y. 1 5 - J UN E.15

The Outlaws conducted their monthly ASU inspection

as apart of Knight’s Activities on Friday June 6th. The

Army Service Uniform shows Soldiers at their most pro-

fessional. Everything is clean and set up to perfection.

While standing in formation the Outlaws were not think-

ing about the usual long run done during PT. Instead

they participated in another very important event, a uri-

nalysis. The urinalysis ensures Soldiers are not using

drugs to remain up to standard. The ASU uniform

shows professionalism on the outside and remaining

drug free ensures that same standard on the inside.

Just as the leadership checks to make sure our uni-

forms are looking good and ready for board, they

check every standard that needs to be upheld which

includes being drug free.

Motorpool On Thursday, June 5th the Outlaws conducted

the inventory of storage containers at the mo-

torpool. They checked to make sure all of the

equipment inside was accounted for. The Out-

laws documented the status of everything they

found to verify that everything was in working

order, and if anything needed to be replaced or

worked on. The Outlaws posted inventory

sheets on the doors to show the items inside

the containers in a preparation for the Change

of Command.

The finance office at the MK Air Base in

Romania is currently being run by 106th

FMSU. PFC AJifackbasso, Christelle is al-

ready on foot at the base and SGT

James, Diandra will be joining her very

soon. The office specializes on Eagle

Cash Cards and everything dealing with

their cash cage, but also offers support

with MilPay issues as well. They provide

support for Service Members from every

branch of the military as well as Ameri-

can contractors. They will be serving a

other outlaws when they return.

On Thursday June 12th the Outlaws at-

tended a SHARP event at the tower

theater. The event put on by Catharsis

Production and titled “Got Your Back” a

bystander intervention training. This in-

teractive seminar detailed out to Sol-

diers the difference between good hook

-ups, bad hook-ups, and rape. They

went over certain words that society

uses to describe men and women, and

how it affects the way we view sexual

harassment/assault. They also went

over the strategies that rapist use to

lure victims in. The Outlaws learned

how to spot the signs and how to step in

to protect the victim.

PFC Smyton, Esther is now pregnant and

even though she has a profile, she is still ex-

pected to participate in PT. She has been en-

rolled in PPPT, pregnancy/postpartum physi-

cal training. This program is designed to en-

sure that pregnant women still get helpful

workouts to stay fit, and promote a healthy

pregnancy. The instruction caters to the

things women can and cannot do in each

stage of pregnancy. After the birth of her

child, PFC Smyton will return to the program

to help her get back into shape and loose

weight. She will gradually get increase the

level of intensity until she is able to pass the

APFT.

On Thursday June 12th SPC Hawkins, Donte re-

ceived a Certificate of Achievement from 16th

Sustainment Brigade for safety of the week.

Safety is important no matter who you are

across any job or lifestyle in the world. It is an

especially important factor for Soldiers in the

Army. We want to ensure we are doing every-

thing safely to keep lives downrange. Here at

garrison safety helps to keep Soldiers healthy,

accident free, and makes sure paperwork is

processed correctly. SPC Hawkins is also on top

of keeping everything at the office safe. He fre-

quently ensures that our TMP’s are working cor-

rectly and leads other Soldiers in a safe work en-

vironment.
